Does anyone have a discount code for Dollar??

I need to rent a mini-van for 10 days and its giving me a price of $700.00.

I have never paid that much in August before?

Thanks.

There were also a couple of codes on mousesavers. I used oi1054, and OCVB.

Depending on when you are going in August, you may want to check out National. They have a weekly special starting Aug. 20 (although my rental starts on Aug. 17 and I got the special rate). You can also stack on a coupon and possibly another code (check mousesavers). Our 8-day rental for a mini-van is at $315. Extra days are $43. That would be quite a bit cheaper than your other rate.

What kind of Dollar Minivan have you driven?

Their website says: Dodge Caravan or similar

Do they have any other kinds of minivans?

We used to own a Grand Caravan which I thought was roomier than the Dodge Caravan we rented once. With a big family, you appreciate the extra room.

try wn776 but book thru the southwest airline website. i booked dollar thru their website and got a minvan for 183 for 5 days in august.

Not sure of your dates but I priced out a Mini-van for 10 days at Alamo using the Entertainment coupon for $540 including taxes.

I tried using the walmart codes (by and ID 430710) and the d24c $25 off coupon and here's what I got:

Uplander 10 days (New Orleans) $289.48/Week + 3 days at $48.25 ($144.75) - $25 off = $409.23 + $107.99 tax!!! = $517.22 total - a little better than the $540 figure (my dollar.com rate quote is $360).

Does anyone know if the Uplander is better than the Dollar "Caravan or similar"? Does the Uplander automatically come with a DVD player? If so, $180 divided by 10 days would be $18/day for a DVD player.

BUT, then again, I could probably buy an inexpensive 2 screen DVD player for that price.

Better yet, we could spend that $180 at WDW on something else. What should we do???? Too many decisions.....
