Dollar goes down again !!

I can not believe I actually got the price to go down again.

I was just messing around and came across code OCVB, this got my rental rate for our minivan down to $29.99/ day!

I'm thinking I can't do any better than that, but at this point who knows

Can someone please tell me how to add a code to an existing reservation with Dollar. I am not seeing where I can add the "kiss2" code. That rate is much lower than what I have now.

Please help me do this!! Do I have to call?

Click on the "Specials" on the top. When you do this, it will redisplay with a box that says Promo Code below the picture of the car. Put the KISS2 in there. Hope that helps.

I just tried this code again for our November trip and this time it worked (it didn't work a few weeks ago!). Anyway, I got a minivan for 10 days for $323 total! Yoo-hoo!

They may offer a savings, but if you are like us and don't put ANTHING on credit (If we can't afford it, we don't do it - so we don't have credit cards) you may end up totally screwed if they decline your debit/checking card.

In the event a customer fails to meet our credit requirement, the customer will not be allowed to rent or provide another form of payment. See our General Policies.
A hold will be placed on all credit/debit cards for the estimated amount of the rental plus 15% OR a minimum of $250.00, whichever is greater. We will remove the hold at the end of the rental when the final charges are settled.

Hertz charges more, but they will confirm the acceptability of your checking/debit card over the phone prior to your trip.

I'd rather have a smaller car and know 100% that I won't have a problem with renting the car when I get there.

Just think how fun it would be to be standing there with all your luggage, your family (probably cranky from flying and anxious to get to The World) and being told - "sorry, no car for you. You can call for a taxi (which you now have to pay cash for) to take you to your hotel."

Never used hotwire before but make sure they are quoting you with all the taxes/fees included at the end. Some of the other services just show you the basic rate and don't include taxes etc. until you get to the rental place.

"All fees included" is one of the things they emphasis so I should be good to go.

If anyone is interested the rate for a minivan in Atlanta (we are driving to Orlando) is $23.95/day for a total of about $282 with tax & airport fees.

Thanks! Saved me $22 to pay for parking! I had a rate of $169 for a week for a minivan but your code brought it to $158!! Best rate I have ever had!!

You have to sign in (I am hoping you signed up for the Dollar Express) or go to View your current ressie. Then a box comes up for the promo. I had to change my promo code.
