Dollar Fast Lane

If I join Dollar's Fast Lane do I avoid the counter? If I do, how do I pay the $5 extra per day for another driver? What I am trying to say is that the purpose of the Fast Lane is to expedite the whole procedure, but if I add a driver will I have to go to a regular line?

There is a separate line for FastLane members. I'd call their 800 in advance so they know about the extra driver and any other special features about your rental. Once there, you'll sign the paperwork and be gone in a minute or two. Last March I got the keys, located the car and met my family at the baggage carousel before they could get the luggage.

Bill's answer is correct, but I do think you could add the driver at the Fastlane counter, I've done this, upgrades whatever. Mostly what fastlane does is it has all your information, name/address/phone/credit card/preferences for renting etc. already stored in the computer and most of what is left that they ask/do is formality, and if you have a particular credit card on file, you can ask to use another one at that time also.
