Dollar Express @ MCO

When renting from Dollar car rental @MCO, & signing up for their "Dollar Expess" membership, do you just go to the garage across the street to pick it up? Or do you have to wait in a line IN the terminal? I know that with Budget, if you're a Fastbreak member, you just head over to the garage. Is it the same with Dollar's frequent renter program? TIA!

From what I remember if you sign up for Dollar Express you wait in a shorter line and the check in is shorter since you've already registered your preferences and information.

But o I still wait IN MCO? With Budget, you go right o the garage. I just don't want to wait in a line inside to be told to o somewhere else.

Don't know for sure about MCO but cities I've been to recently as an express member I walk right past the counter into the garage, find my name on the board which tells me where my car is, load my luggage and go. Just show paperwork and DL at the exit gate. And if you want to pick a different car you just find an agent stationed in the garage. Very simple. And we'll signed. Always been happy as a loyal Dollar customer.

I have rented two times using dollar express at MCO and both experiences were great. Yes, you do bypass the counter inside the terminal and you walk outside across the street to the parking garage where the small Dollar express kiosk is located. You may encounter a short line here but since all the paper work is done, it moves quickly. Once you tell them you are ready to pick up your car, they find your paperwork, and then give you keys to your car. You walk a few feet over to the row of Dollar cars and look for your assigned car. Easy and fast!

It's always nice to have that as back up, but we have never had to show it. They just ask for ID, usually just your drivers license and everything is set. They have your credit card # on file already, so they know how you will be paying. Have a great trip!
