Should I sign up for the Dollar Express program? We are renting Sept 21-28. Has anyone ever joined and used this at MCO? I was wondering if it saved any time. Thanks :)

At MCO, Dollar Express isn't as useful as at some airports. You still have to go to the counter. However, there are two big advantages. You get your own line which is shorter and moves much faster than regular lines. Second, all your paperwork is pre-filled. You just sign and go, without having to be asked a zillion times if you want the insurance or an upgrade.

Anyway, Dollar Express is free. So, yes, you should sign up.

Thank you Sal...I appreciate your response. We will do it...anything to be on a shorter line. LOL :yay:

Dollar Express is a pretty good service, although you still have to wait in the "special line". At MCO, I believe the only companies that truely let you skip lines fully are National (Emerald Club) Alamo (Online Check In) Budget (Fastbreak) Hertz (#1 Club Gold) and Avis (Prefered Membership)

Love "Dollar Express". At MCO you have alot of people who never rented a car on line. You can bypass that line and get your car in less than 5 minutes.
It also seems that you get a better car as a repeat customer. Got a car with "Sirus Radio" last time.

I can highly recommend this. When you get off the plane and are shlepping your luggage through the terminal you just want to get out of there (esp with kids, luggage and exhaustion). It was SOOOOOO wonderful by-passing the 20-30 people deep regular line and walk right up to the express counter!! And it's FREE! Don't be put out that they ask for your CC number and personal information on the on-line application, it has never been a problem for me and I've never been charged for anything other than what was on my paper work. Like so many who stick with the same rental company, I stick with Dollar because it's what I know. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for your advice. Everyone on these boards are so helpful! 22 days and counting til CBR. YEAH :cheer2: :woohoo:
