Dollar Exchange Rate!!!

Just purchased some US $ currency & travellers cheques. Got a rate of 2.015 to the £..........now that makes trips to WDW much better value. Also if you were thinking of joining DVC or adding on, doing it now would seem to make sense.
Now were did I put my Mickey Ears????

Got the rate from here and I did a forward exchange contract for October 2007 as thats when we next go to WDW.

The Ulster Bank here has the best rate at the moment (I think it is Nat West on the mainland), they are higher than HBOS and travel agents. DH is being sent to get our money changed tomorrow.

Personally I would. The market has already priced in the next base rate rise and if you can lock into over $2 to the £ now, then why not. It may go a bit higher but thats just being greedy

If you are going around May 2008 you can lock in at $2.06!!!!!
