Dollar car rental ?

We have a reservation for our trip inAugust.Just wondering if i should sign us up for there fastlane program.Not sure how long the lines are there.We get in at 10 a.m. What do you guys think.Also can I sign up for the program and add my reservation to it or do i need to make a new reservation.

You just never know how long the lines will be. I've checked in at Dollar when there have been both huge and non-existant lines.

Save yourself some grief and apply for Fastlane. I've never been further back than second in the Fastlane line.

Better yet, with National's Emerald Isle you bypass the counter and go directly to the garage and pick the car you want. It's a big timesaver.

We use both Dollar and National. They're both top quality.

At the Dollar counter in MCO there is a separate line for Fastlane members. Every time I have used Dollar I have been the only one in the Fastlane line and I get taken next, even if there is a looong line. When you join you will give them all the information that is needed ahead of time - including insurance questions, driver's license, credit card, etc. This way when you get to the Fastlane counter you are in and out in no time without having to fill out paperwork, since it was already done when you signed up for Fastlane. If your trip is soon, you will need to sign up right away. You can either fax or have it snail mailed. You will also get an upgrade coupon when you sign up.
Once you join and have a membership number, then call Dollar and have your reservation applied.
