Dole Whip ?

Ok, I no you can get a Dole Whip in the MK and also at a place in the Poly, but is that it? Can you find one anywhere else in all of Disney? Another resort or at another park? If not, i guess I'll live, thats just more pounds I would have to lose after I got home. And yes, I know how to type and form a sentence, I'm gonna blame this on texting, too much abbreviating, makes it hard on a person to have to write an actual letter anymore.

Sorry, that's it. Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom (near Swiss Family Treehouse, on the way to Jungle Cruise) and at the Polynesian resort, it's found at Captain Cook's, the counter service food restaurant. No other parks or resorts have it.

That stinks that it is only available in 2 locations!!!! I've read so much about them and can't wait to enjoy one during my June trip. You would think if they are so popular Disney would offer them else where.

Well, there are numerous other frozen treats, slushies, milkshakes, floats, etc. available in a lot of other locations in the parks & resorts. And a fair number of people do not care for Dole Whips...if you don't like pineapple, you're not going to like Dole Whips (half my family hates pineapple, so Dole Whips have no appeal whatsoever to 3 sons, but hubby, daughter & myself love 'em.)

Agree. If you could get it everyplace all the time it wouldn't be so special!

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't like Dole Whips...at all. I would take an orange-pineapple smoothie from Auntie Gravity's over that any day. So, clearly it isn't just about liking pineapple.

Not to mention, it's a very Disney thing to limit popular treats. Zebra Domes are limited to two locations, and they are both on resort property. Beignets are only found at New Orleans I believe.

It happens. It just makes them all the more special. Disney is limited in their greed. Theme comes first. Otherwise they would be like every other theme park company out there.

Good to know. I can't believe that in all of my trips and years on the Disboards, I still haven't tried one??!! This and a stuffed pretzel will have to be on the must-do list for our upcoming trip.

2 years ago we went to Hawaii, toured the pineapple plantation, went in to get a snack. I stopped and loudly proclaimed to my DH, "LOOK, they have DOLE WHIPS and FLOATS!!! I thought you could only get them at Disney!!!"
DH says, " Honey, where are we?" Me, "Hawaii, at the .... Dole plantation..." slink away fast with red face... Still got one! it was fab!

LOL You may have been in Hawaii, but you're always in WDW in your heart. I was there at the plantation on my honeymoon, but wasn't even aware of Dole whips at the time. Can't wait to try one in November.

I have heard the tour guides on the KTTK tour like to say there are only three places you can get a Dole WDW, DL and the Dole Plantation.

Well anybody with a soft serve machine can buy the mix and sell Dole whip Soft Serve. There have been reports of people seeing them at State Fairs, local ice cream shops and Knobel's Amusement Park. You can even buy the mix and make some at home.

i know... Id love to see them all over the place.. but alas.. not so. The only time we ever get over to the poly is when we are eating at Ohana's.. so there is no way I am wasting tummy space on dolewhip when I can eat bread pudding with caramel banana sauce! My personal favorite is a dolewhip float whilst watching the 3pm parade in MK. ahhhhh 5 mos! Cant wait!
