2 years ago, on recomendation from Dis'ers we fell in love with the Dole whip ice cream. I know it was at MK, but where? What was the name of the snack stand and what land is it in? Is this the only place in WDW you can get the Dole whips?

its called Aloha Isle, its in Adventureland, and I think it is the only place that has them but I could be wrong...if you make a left off main st going into adventure land its not a far walk though, its nefore the aladin carpet ride

Yummy!!! Can't wait to have the pineapple float!!!!

Yes, it is the only place in WDW that offers Dole Whips or Dole Whip Floats (my favorite). If you have time for the walk, they do sell them at Disneyland right outside of the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room. (Enchanted Tiki Room)

:rolleyes1

OK What is a Dole Whip? :confused3

Only the best. You have ice cream with dole pineapples mixed together. But other magic things happen to make it special :cool1:

I'm planning to try my first Dole Whip in December. Any suggestions for what flavor of ice cream in it? :listen: AllEarsNet lists: pineapple, vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. :cloud9: Thanks! :wave2:

:goodvibes oooohhh this has to be the best goody stand in MK... it's located near the Aladin ride... from the ride if you walk toward where Aladin & Jasmine take pics with everyone just walk a little further and you'll find the Dole Whip goodies there ;) Hope you enjoy!!!

I think the Dole Whip they are all talking about is the Pineapple one, that's the only one I ever knew of, mmmmmmmmm I'm getting hungry for one just thinking about it, I also like the pineapple spears. :mickeybar

Ah, so the

"Dole Whip Soft Serve (pineapple, vanilla, chocolate, or swirl) - $2.79 available toppings: rainbow sprinkles"

is just soft serve ice cream? Then the

"Pineapple Float - pineapple Dole Whip with pineapple juice $2.99"

is the actual Dole Whip? I'm not a big fan of pineapple, do you think I'll still like this? :confused3

I had my first ever Dole Whip 6 days ago. Then I had my second, third, and forth. :lovestruc
Not on the same day though. :rotfl2:
Oh man are they good! I miss them allready.
Oh by the way, A DISer recognized my green ribbon while I was in line for one! Too cool!

Well I will have to try one of these. I love pineapple and soft serve ice cream!

Ok, I don't get it. Maybe I am missing something here. I'll probably get flamed for this .... :)

Tried Dole Whip this last March. Now, I love pineapple (canned, fresh, whatever is fine) and I love soft serve ice cream (I mash the hard ice cream to pulp before I eat it). I love fruits mixed in with ice cream like they do at Coldstone Creamery.

It was a good treat after exhausting day at the park.

But, I don't know why people get so orgasmic over it :) It's just ice cream. I must have missed something at the door ....

I need to go hide now.

No, you don't need to hide but you do need to go stand in the corner and think about this...the attraction is that I don't believe they are available anyplace else. I have never seen them, especially the Dole Floats, anyplace except Disney. If you like Pineapple then you start to crave them long before you get to the parks and the "afterglow" when you get there is oh so satisfying. I don't recall any fruit mixed in with the soft serve, I think it is just flavored.

I agree.....they are somewhat unique and just make for a fun MK tradition with us. But Lucincia, you don't have to hide :duck:
The other frozen treat we like is the strawberry swirls at Enchanted Grove near Starlight Ray's Cafe. But they were closed the entire 10 days we were there this past August :confused3

After reading so much about Dole Whips I had to try one on our last trip and I have to say I found it to be ... rather tart. My husband even agreed; it was more tart than sweet and we didn't care much for it. Gasp!

We're going to Dole Whip heck together :)

And, Goofyernmost - yeah, it is just flavored. I was just saying I like ice cream and pineapple together. Just can't get on the fanatical wagon on this one :)

Sorcerer Figment,

I am not a big fan of pineapples either. BUT dole whips are awesome. Really refreshing on a hot day.

29 Days til a Dole WHIP. YIPEE!
