Dole whip question

When everyone talks about getting a dole whip which way do you order it? Just the soft serve or do you get a float?

I'm a float person. The regular serving in a cup is just too much for me.

Float. This trip we couldn't decide if we wanted just pineapple, pineapple-vanilla, or pineapple-orange. He was nice enough to make us a pineapple-vanilla float (his favorite) as well as give us a sample size of the pineapple-orange. For us, the very best is a float with pineapple-vanilla swirl.

ooooh, I am going to have to try the float with pineapple vanilla swirl. as much as I LOVE dole whips, and I do, its sometimes a little too pineapple-y. love the option of a float...at some of the FEW dole whip locations (I've had them from the actual dole plantation in Hawaii, on waikiki, in Disney and at Vero beach) they only offer the basic.

For us, it really did make a huge difference. I understand what you are saying about too poneapple-y. The orange was good, but the combo made it very very sweet. The vanilla somehow manages to cut the sweet but also add a little something that makes it very good.

We are a split family, half get the regular dole whip ( pineapple.) the other half gets a float.

My fiance and I each get at least 2 floats when we're at MK every time. I always get the pineapple vanilla swirl, and he gets pineapple orange swirl. I don't think you can go wrong with a dole whip, float or non float!

So what is the difference between a dole whip at Disney world and one at Disneyland? Had a regular on at DL for the first time last summer but didn't have an option of getting it mixed with another soft serve flavor.

I'm a float person - pineapple juice with pineapple Dole Whip! Yummy!

I used to think there was a difference in flavor between the DLR and WDW pineapple Dole Whip, but the last few floats at DLR seemed to be pretty much the same as the ones at WDW to me.

Love Dole Whip! I have mine in a cone! Me and my husband have also had Dole Whip in the Hawaii plantation! Yum!

I'm going to dissent. The only time I had it, I got the pineapple/vanilla twist float. I don't regret the float-though I can see myself going without in the future from time to time-I do regret the twist. The flavors didn't go to me, and it kind of ruined the awesomeness of the pineapple.
