DOLE WHIP at wedding help!!!! Disney said NO at DP?!

PLEASE HELP!
I had looked into the DOLE WHIP at the Dessert Party...
My planner asked but got back to me that they are unable to do that at Italy isola west!!!!

So we are now having mickey bars... BUT I WANT DOLE WHIP!!!!
and i was just listening to Carrie's podcast and it said that it was possible to the wedding.... SOOOOOO anyone have any information on that?

How much? what is needed for it??? Seriously want this!!!!

That's weird. AJ had a Dole Whip machine at her Disney Food Blog party in France last fall. I wonder if Italy is too far from the kitchen or something? Or there's no electricity to set it up? If this is a big deal, I'd ask for further details so you can at least know why (like if it requires a pricey electrical package or something) and what the alternatives might be (for example, maybe they can do Dole Whip-flavored slushies in a margarita machine instead).

Your podcast is great by the way! My planner made it sound as if it wasn't done since there was not a machine available to have come out of the designated places.... At this point, I am trying to conserve money but the dole whip is my FAVE thing on site! She is gone for a week but I will am typing up some questions for her based on your help!

The slushie bar sounds great! I never thought about that for me and the girls - only the guinness for the men!

If it's the machine that's the problem, couldn't they just use a regular soft-serve machine and the Dole Whip mix? [ ...waits for Dole Whip purists to object...]

I'm also curious about this. We asked if Dole Whips were possible at our DP when we spoke to our coordinator during our site visit and she also said she didn't think so since she didn't think there was a portable machine. Now that I know someone else got it, I am definitely inquiring again...

Just wanted to update that it is possible with a BUNN machine and same mix but they will not guarantee its the same. 4 gallon minimum at $65 a gallon....

I had no idea a Dole Whip (or even something similar) was an option for a DP. We adore those on our last trip we even park happed just to go get one lol so this is so going on my planning list!! Thank you for posting this thread

When we booked West Isola we were concerned about the warning online that said there may be some limitations to the food we'd be able to serve. When we asked our wedding coordinator about it, he said the limitations would be so minor he couldn't even think of an example.

Well here's a perfect example!
