Dole Recipe online?

This is the mix used in the parks and it can be purchased online. We’ve got it and make it in our ice cream maker - yum!

This is correct, the mix is what is used in the parks/resorts/DCL. It is dairy-free and actually free of the top 8 allergens [except coconut].

The "recipe" that was released is NOT what is used in the parks, it is a "make at home something that is similar" type of recipe.

I have purchased it to make at home in an ice cream maker. The manufacturer sells it directly via their website, or you can purchase it via Amazon USA.

Any recipe that calls for banana is a lie. I HATE bananas and would be able to detect any hint of it in my beloved Dole Whip, so I don’t care who it was that released a recipe with bananas, they’re wrong :banana:

I also am looking for the dairy free version, that they serve in the parks. My kids were allergic to milk up
I saw them post this, but isn’t the official dole whip from the parks dairy free? Which would mean they don’t use vanilla ice cream. Dole also published a dole whip recipe that is dairy free
  • 1 cup pineapple juice, frozen in an ice cube tray
  • 1 DOLE® Banana, peeled and frozen
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk beverage
Yes, they are dairy free, so there must be an official one w/o the ice cream.

The "official" Dole Whip comes from a mix, purchased from Dole in a bag (picture posted by a PP). The recipes released by Disney and posted here are the "at home" version of the recipe. So they will be similar but not the same as the real thing.

The Dole Whip served in the park comes from a mix:

The pineapple mix specifically is here:
DOLE SOFT SERVE® Pineapple-Flavored Soft Serve Mix - Naturally & Artificially Flavored
http://www.precisionfoods.com/Foods...rve-Mix-Naturally-and-Artificially-Flavored-2

Mix + water in specified ratio then put into the soft serve machine.

You can purchase the mix and make it at home in an ice cream maker.

I just tried the “official“ Dole recipe with the banana, not even close to a Dole Whip, came out like a banana smoothie.

Forget that Dole Whip recipe, give me the Zebra Dome one!

I think I might try to approximate that in a cocktail. Not sure if I can get amarula easily though.

My husband detests bananas and can smell them a mile away. He probably would knock it out of my hand if it had banana in it :rotfl2:

If you have a Sweet Frogs frozen yogurt location near you, some have some of the Dole flavors (there are several) including pineapple. Also, a few years back, we ate at a frozen yogurt place in Boulder City, NV and they had a dole whip machine as well. So, you can find them at retail locations around as well. They are not exclusive to disney. If you are fortunate enough to live in Hawaii, you can get one at the Dole Pineapple plantation as well.

I made the online recipe to have while watching the Disney Sing-a-Long. We were very disappointed that it was not anywhere near a real Dole Whip. Would rather they hadn't tried to lift my spirits because now I have vanilla ice cream no one is going to eat.

Seconding this regarding Sweet Frog, and also if you live somewhere there's a Nando's, a year or two ago they replaced the frozen yogurt with dole whip, so at least at the locations near us (DC area), you can get Dole Whip there.

make it more fun. skip the pineapple frozen chunks.
i did 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
3 oz pineapple juise
2 oz black meyers rum!

MMMMM

We tried to make our own Dole Whips today and they were good but not like the Disney ones. I did add a little Malibu Rum with coconut flavoring to it and thought it was a good addition to it.

Also if you’re in Hawaii (on Oahu) you can get it at Aulani!
