Doing the single digit dance

Next Tuesday, at 8:45 AM, our family will be winging our way to WDW. It will be our first stay at BCV (using our OKW pts.) We are weather watching: up here for the take-off and down there for the rest of the week. I just can't wait for the special feeling I get when I arrive at WDW. As we walk through OKW, I can feel the tension drop from my shoulders, although it takes at least a fully day for my full mainframe to be ON VACATION. Hopefully, we'll stay in touch thru DS's laptop & share our impressions of BCV.

But then how could you NOT have fun? We go to BWV at the end of the month.

Interesting that you could get BCV at 7 months out using your OKW points. Did you have to waitlist?

We swithched from VWL 1bdrm for 8nights the end of June to 1 bdrm bcv at the 7 month window no problem - and in february we switched from the 1bdrm BCV to 2bdrm OKW to bring some family with us - again no problems.

Have a great time- it sure is the sweetest stress reliever I know of, walking into the lobby of HOME!! We have a trip planned to BCV in 27 days!!!

I was shocked & so happy to get BCV at 7 mos. No wait list needed. I think it was only possible because BCV wasn't sold out & I don't expect to be able to get BCV at 7 mos. w/o waitlist again. We have stayed twice at BWV, but we always needed the waitlist. We try new places, but we would always be happy to stay at OKW, so I usually have my OKW back-up ressie before I try other resorts.

We own at BWV, but haven't stayed there yet. We've stayed twice at OKW, we really love it there and the villas are so much larger than the other DVC resorts. I made this upcoming BCV reservation only 4 weeks ago -sort of a last minute trip. We also love VB, a lot like OKW in the relaxing atmosphere that it has. We are trying HH for the first time in July, can't wait.

Lucky you!! I have been waiting for ONE NIGHT for the last two months, and can't seem to get it at BCV! The weather down there will be so warm for you Remember those you left behind who are battling the freezing cold. We were -11 last night, and we were warmer than everyone else in our state, so we Michiganians are really looking forward to our pilgrimage at the end of MARCH--yes!!

Try calling again. We just switched our OKW ressies for BCV for July. I think with more people buying BCV, is what is opening up more rooms for members. Before the resort was mostly empty because they could only fill with members based on what members had bought.

We got BCV at the 7 month mark with no problem at all. Granted it is for the 2nd week of May, which seems to be a slower time. But we decided that if we want to stay there without a hassle we better do it this year. Before BWV was sold out we could get reservations at the 7 month window every year. Now it has become a bit more difficult. We really like staying at our home resort, OKW. But when we used to take 2 week trips we would usually stay in two resorts to break the trip up a bit. And of course we've got to try the new resort out.
