I'll do the Silent Dance with you 
because we, too, have a surprise trip planned for our twins on their 8th birthday soon!! It's been so hard not to tell them, but it will be worth it when we pick them up from school and head to the airport instead of McDonald's where they've requested to go for supper that night! 
They going to be pretty shocked when we tell them we'll be going to MNSSHP too - we look at the pictures nightly but told them we're just planning for next year. 
We'll have to all "meet" back here later on to share stories of the fun!!
I'd also like to thank you and your DH for your work with the animals. My kids and I went door to door collecting for the HSUS and have a nice check to send off now (thanks for reminding me).
