Doing the same ride several times

There are ways to do it without any unusual means -
Pre-arrange for a Fastpass Plus for early in the morning.
Get to the park early before the lines get long and get a DAS Return Time before getting into the Standby line.
Ride #1 - Standby line
Ride #2 - DAS Return Time
Ride #3 - Fastpass

Whole-heartedly agree with with the MAW kids...I inadvertently missed them in my musings. Absent that, though, just staying on the ride for another go round or two (or three or four) is unimaginable.

The difference is these all require a debarkation and another embarkation. That is not what the PP was alluding to when she said there is a way around it, or what the OP thinks her child should receive as an accommodation.

That is why I said "without any unusual means"

I was allowed to stay on Buzz Lightyear and go round again because my gun was falling apart so I couldn't shoot at anything. But, this was like 9pm on a quiet night and there wasn't a huge queue.

What annoyed me about TSM was going back for the second ride on DD's DAS we got back into the queue just after a huge party of elderly people in 6 wheelchairs and scooters with their walking companions. Now, when you consider that they only send vehicles into the wheelchair line every 10 or so that means that we had to wait far longer than if I'd been able to walk up the stairs and down the other side (and I couldn't easily, which is why I was in the scooter in the first place). If that wasn't bad enough, every single one of those scooter/wheelchair users got up and transferred to the vehicles on foot - but the CMS only loaded 2 per vehicle instead of 4. The queue would have been halved for us had they filled each one to capacity - but perhaps there's a health & safety thing about loading 4 old people from scooters/wheelchairs into each vehicle. Needless to say, DD was moaning like a good 'un and I wasn't far behind her in the patience stakes at that point. Let's face it - you don't expect a 35 minute wait for a ride when there are literally only 14 people ahead of you!!

Knowing the loading procedure, and at DCA there is only 1 accessible vehicle, And seeing that it was a single group, I probably would have asked the CMs if it was ok to come back later. Then gone and gotten a snack or ridden the carousel (again, at DCA) and then tried again.

Once on HMH on an otherwise uncrowded week day we saw a group of about 10-12 wheelchairs. These appeared to be teens and young adults who couldn't hold their own head up, and many had multiple companions and extra equipment. I've heard that HM has a policy of only stopping the ride once per cycle, although sometimes that doesn't true. (Once I know the second stop was because someone got out of the buggy, so not to load/unload.) I wondered if the ride would stop twice beause this group was so large and also because it seemed complicated with so much extra equipment. Well, sure enough we get into Madame Leota's room and the ride stopped for more than 13 cycles of the 13 days of Christmas. I stopped counting at 13 because it equaled the number of days. I know we were in there for over a half hour, it seemed like more. I don't know if they had special permission to load a large party of wheelchair users, or if it was just really complicated to get the first few doom buggies filled (DL does not have an accessible buggy), but if I ever see a large group in the wheelchair loading area that appears to be riding together, I'm taking the chicken exit!

I'm going to close this thread at this point - it has gotten off topic into area that is going to cause arguments.
