Doing the add-on dance

My dh who is in CA on a busines trip, called me to tell me to add on 100 BCV points. I was only going to add on 50, but he said to go ahead and make it 100.

How many point do you currently have? My wife and I purchased 250 pts at BCV on our honeymoon this past May. We are going to add another 100 pts.

If I may, how many pts do you have at VB and VWL?

We are buying 250 VB pts and thinking about adding on VWL, but how many? We can't seem to figure out the right amount.

Should we buy as many as we can afford or enough to cover a week stay? I don't want to buy too many but I want to buy a decent amount in case they are not available in our use year soon(June)

Just curious what your formula for adding on the right amount was.

vbfamily, including this add-on, we will have 800 VWL, and 300 VB. We could certainly do with less, but we figured on getting a 2br, twice a year during the busier seasons (we get many family tag-alongs). We also factored in some extra points for The Poly, the cruise, a couple nights at x-mas, or The Concierge Colllection (obviously not all in the same year).
Again, this is more than we 'need', but we are super Disney people who plan on going quite often.
