Hi everyone,

We will be in Orlando the week of December 27th for 4 nights, (Universal Vacation), and my husband and I have decided to visit Epcot for one of those days. Any suggestions and/or tips to make our day pleasant would be appreciated. I told him we need to have a plan to make the most of our time there.

Thanks

PS Its just the two of us, no kids... :cheer2: :cheer2:

EPCOT can be a lot of fun. But the week you are to be there is one of the most crowded weeks at WDW.

*Remember Future World opens early and World Showcase does not open until about lunchtime.
*Arrive early, be there when it opens.
*Do Test Track early and use fastpass (The lines get real long real fast.)
*Use fastpass whenever possible (especially for waits over 20 munutes.)
*Do not plan to do everything at EPCOT. It's tough or impossible to do it all in one day.
*Plan at least one sit down table service meal. Two would be better.
*Get ps's for your sit down meals.
*Most of the restaurants in the world showcase are good (My fav's are Marrakesh and LeCellier)
*Pace yourself, it will be a long day.
*If you get tired use American Adventure, Universe of Energy and Impressions De France to relax. (They are lengthy indoor sitdown shows)
*Stay late, be there for IllumiNations (Pick a spot to watch IllumiNations early).

I'm sure others will add advice.

Have Fun

Go to the Living Seas and see the new talking Crush. This is just awesome how it works especially when he answers questions from the kids.

If there's a long line for Test Track or the space mission rides and it's just you and your husband, I'd suggest using the single rider line. It is a significantly shorter wait time. You guys might not ride in the same group, but you'll get to wait in line together. Although I've done the single rider line for Test Track and my entire party ended up in the same car, so you never know. That's my only tip that hasn't been mentioned yet :P. I really like the restaurant in Mexico for eating, it's very neat inside.

I second the person who said to be sure to see the new Crush Turtle Talk show at Living Seas! Even without kid's it's a "Don't Miss" attraction! The Living Seas in general is good place to visit, but the Crush show is really great!

People line up for illuminations very early. Go see test track and mission space after 7, they are attractions open until 9. There are others. Just make sure you are not under a tree for illuminations and you will have a good view.

Bring your appetite! We like to eat our way around the world at EPCOT. We love the pretzel bread and steak at Le Cellier, the 'stick-to-your-ribs' German food at the Biergarten, chocolate mousse in France, chocolate bubble tea in China, everything in Morocco, etc...
Try to eat at off-times. We usually eat lunch at 11am or 1:30pm. We try to get to dinner between 4-5, easier to get priority seating times then, also.
