Doing Disney in the Rain?

We were planning to go to AK last Thursday, but when we woke up and it was raining, we went to MK instead. By the time we got there, it was only drizzling, and we got on so many rides in Fantasyland in 1 and 1/2 hours. By the late morning, the sun was out, but there seemed to be no crowds all day. It was great!

We were in Futureworld in EPCOT earlier in the week and that worked out well, too. We were in the Land for a few hours and then we did Spaceship Earth and The Living Seas.

About 7 years ago we had taken the kids for their first WDW trip. On our last day we had a couple of hours so we went to the MK - it was raining - about 15 minutes prior to us leaving to head to the airport we were standing by the flag pole by the train station. Just as we were turning to leave the rain stopped. My DD yelled for us to look - and we saw a double rainbow behind the castle. It was beautiful. My DD - now age 17 tells everyone how magical WDW is - and that they have rainbows!!!!
