How are the crowds? We went sept 08, and it was perfect. I would like to go again but cant take a whole week. We were thinking about taking this years thanksgiving days and the weekend before.

We were there in 2008 from the Saturday before Thanksgiving until the Saturday after. The first few days were ok, comparable to what I have seen in early June, got busier each day until Thursday (Thanksgiving), and from Thanksgiving Day on, it was BUSY. We were at Epcot on Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) and the boat captain said there were 40,000 people in Epcot right then. I don't know if that is a lot attendance-wise, but I do know IT WAS PACKED ALL DAY. We did Animal Kingdom on Sat and had done Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving Day. I have never seen so many people in the parks as I did on those three days. Ugghh! We still had a good time though, and it was great to get to see all of the Christmas decorations. It was our first time seeing the Santa's Around the World and the Candlelight Processional. Just don't expect to accomplish a whole lot Thurs, Fri and Sat. If you are having to chose a time when school is out, then yes, I would choose Thanksgiving week instead of during Christmas break. Hope that helps!

We went Thanksgiving 07 and decided never again. Too Crowded at that time of year. We either go the week before or week after.

Hope that helps

We were there in '08 from the Saturday before Thanksgiving until the day after Thanksgiving. It was quite busy and a bit crowded. But we used TourGuide Mike to help determine which parks to visit each day. It really surprised me how much we were able to get done each day!! I sat down each night and wrote down everything we rode/saw/did and the list was LONG! I highly recommend some form of touring plan if you are loooking at going during a peak time.

The next time I go during a peak time, I will not hesitate to use a trip planner!

I believe anytime you go during a busy time of the year you should use a touring plan. We have always avoided summer because of the crowds but we went this year and used a touring plan. It was defiantly more crowded then when we normally go but we never felt like we were waiting in extremely long lines.
