Doing an Adult Only Trip!

DH finally agreed to do an adult only trip in October - just the two of us for a few days! Woo Hoo!

Having an older 19 year old daughter (well she will be 19 by the time we travel) really helps to make this possible.

We are going October 23-26. Got an amazing deal on airfare which was the factor that convinced us to go ahead and book.

Now we have to decide which resort to stay at. Hoping for a pin or a bounceback offer in the room during our upcoming May trip!

We also are doing our very first couples only no kids Disney trip.
I just booked CR today for September 23rd - 26th. My husband has always, always wanted to stay in the CR towers. Apparently since he was 8 years old.
We are doing the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan and we don't have to ride any rides if we don't want to! For the first time in 19 years!

When my husband and I went alone it was great because for once it was about what just made ME happy He was content to let me drag him around. not everyone else. Sometimes we deserve that. Have a GREAT time all you who treat yourselves to this most deserving trip.

Just booked our adult only trip Dec 9th - 13th. Our first Christmas Disney trip! Very excited. We are taking the kids and my parents Sept 2011 for our 10 year anniversary trip.

My DH and I tried an adults only trip. . .he was NOT content to let me drag him around. It was a rough trip for me.

Now, my friend and I (who both LOVE Disney) just booked at 9 day stay at ASMu September 21-September 29. It is kind of a do-over trip for me.

Now. . .the best way to tell my principal (I do technology support at an elementary school) that I will be gone for a week and a half at the end of September!

I'm going on Monday with just my girlfriend, hubby and DD are staying home... it won't be too exciting b/c I'm 23 weeks pregnant, but we'll still have a great time and I'm so looking forward to it!

Have a blast! Growing up, my parents always told me that one reason their marriage was so strong was because they took time to be together as a couple.

As much as we love our kids, my wife and I always make time for just the two of us, as well. We haven't done a full-scale trip without the kids yet (due to some special needs with our son), but will be very soon and we cannot wait. Until then, it's lots of date nights, a few weekends away during the year, and lots of snuggle time after the kids go to bed.

I'm hoping we can do an adults only trip in October during food & wine!! My fantasy is to just sit and soak it all in, walk around and go into all the shops I never get to go into and actually make it over to the Boardwalk area. Sounds like bliss to me, hope you have a great trip!!!

We do an adults only trip every year since we don't have children. We'll be there 9/30 - 10/7 doing food and wine and first time for MNSSHP.

DH and I are leaving next Friday for our adult only trip. Four days in WDW with no kids.

DH is going golfing and I am going to do whatever I want during the day. Then in the evenings we can drink around the world and eat. I am looking forward to doing evening EMH in MK for the first time. As well as checking out the resorts, reading on the beach and all the yummy drinks in WS.
