Weekend is going good, had a pedi in preparation for Italy next week and a routine eye check up, but other than that we are doing nothing as I need to rest up this weekend. I was feeling really sick last week and my stomach was hurting, I think I pulled a muscle in gym and when I am sitting and not doing anything its ok, so I have been ordered to do nothing this weekend. Which is cool as I can catch up everything Disney

Thanx, Dave says that there is a Koi pond there so I have to go look for that and take pics as I love Koi fish. When I am filthy rich and have a big fabulous house I want to have a nice koi pond in the back garden

Day 5 - Monday 4th October

Today is

Epcot Day!!!

We have an 8:35am ADR for

Hopefully we'll get some nice empty looking pics of FW and WS along the way. Am looking forward to meeting all the Princesses and getting a photo with Belle in her yellow dress

Whilst we are dining, Dave might slip out around 9am ish to go and snag some FP's for Soarin' as we are going to miss the usual rush for FP's being in Norway, but we figure we should try and get some incase they run out completely by the time we get there. What do you think, is this a smart move?

Once we have finished dining with the Princesses, we will make our way back to FW to go and ride

After TT we will hop on over to

Apparently they are really rotating different characters here, so hopefully we will see some different characters and Mickey and the Gang too

By this time hopefully our FP time will be up for

Otherwise if not, we will ride

It should be just before lunch by then and we will stroll on over to China for our lunch ADR at

After ND, we will go back to FW and check out

and

Then go and ride Nemo or Soarin depending on what we rode previously before lunch, maybe go to Sunshine Seasons and pick up one of these babies

Then head on over to hang out with Nemo and the gang and get a new pic of this

Afterwards we'll head on over and ride

After SE we might go and see if there are any FP's for TT, if there are score! As we really want to ride it in the dark.

At this point, we don't really know what else we will do as we are not doing WS on this day. So we might venture into the beginning of WS to grab something alcoholic and sit down and people watch. We will also check out

After dinner I guess we will use our FP's for TT if we got any, or check out the wait times and maybe line up for TT and possibly Soarin if it's manageable.

Then off home for an evening cocktail on the beach or in the lounge before going to bed

We had it booked but then we had to change some plans, I couldn't get the time we wanted so we're going back to Biergarten. I do want to go to Coral Reef again--it's been over twelve years since we were there. You have a very full day and I think a drink at the lounge at the end of it is perfect.

Nice day five plans! I'm anxious to see how you like Akershus for breakfast. Not having used fast passes before, I'm no help unfortunately on if you should sneak out for the Soarin ones....

I like the idea of just doing FW... it certainly gives you more time! Nine Dragons, Coral Reef -- sounds delish! A cocktail on the beach to close off your day sounds sooo relaxing.

Thanx We ate at Coral on our last trip and it was quite nice (can't be too enthusiastic as I was ill at that point). We were one table away from the aquarium which was cool, but I think seats higher up might be better this year. Will let you know how it goes, will most prob Tweet/FB when we are there so look out for it

Drinks at the end of the night was Dave's idea, part of the whole utilise the resort etc etc

I am quite looking forward to Akershus I wanted this ADR moreso than Dave because we were having dinner at CRT which would mean missing out on dining with Princesses, but now that dinner has changed at CRT the Princesses are actually at dinner now, we didn't really need to keep the ADR. But I thought give it a chance, esp if we get to meet Belle in her yellow dress.

I think seeing as we are not going off site now (apart from one day shopping) I figure we can take the parks at our own pace and FW for most of the day is great as we can really appreciate it more and take more photos, rather than rushing through and then tackling WS. I love WS and I feel that it needs a whole day to be fully appreciated Hopefully Dave agrees too

Well I emailed my TA last night about the GF booking - she emailed back today that she's actually in Disney World right now, until August 30th!! She said she could get a colleague to send me a quote, but I said I didn't mind waiting til she got back from her trip

I don't think I saw the link to the carriages on ebay? I would love to get one though if you could send me the link, thank you!

Hope you feel better soon, I hate it when I pull muscles at the gym! Pedicures are always lovely aren't they - I had one done before Barbados, and my toes still look nice, nearly 4 weeks later!

ps - really like the Lotso toy! He still looks so cute, even though I know now that he's a very evil bear x

Epcot plans look good!!

I don't know about Dave going to get Soarin' FPs during breakfast. It's really kind of far, if you think about it. You'll be sitting there by yourself for at least 20 mins! If you're going to be in FW all day, just wait until breakfast is over to get your FP.

I could NEVER do a whole day of Epcot and NOT do WS! But I like your thinking in grabbing a sneaky margarita to take back to FW with you!

Lotso is the Disney character that I have the strongest feelings for. And they're not good!

Great plans for your Epcot day! I love that Strawberry Shortcake from Sunshine Seasons! Our little neighbor girl bought that Lotso bear and I thought it was so adorable. Just so squeezable and it smells so good. But I still don't understand why Disney made such a bad villian look so absolutely adorable

So much so that he's not willing to give it another try. If it's delish this year, maybe we can talk him into dinner there next year when we have our Epcot day!!!??!!!!

Well I swapped because her strip steak was too salty but what I ate of the pork was awesome. Tasted really good.
