Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

:woohoo: Glad to hear everything worked out! Kind of crazy that you couldn't get all of your exact times calling right at open on your first day. Especially suprised the only time CRT was available was so early. It must be even harder to book dinner now that the princesses are there.

Awesome! Congrats on the ADRs! You must be ecstatic! Can UK visitors make ADRs online? Maybe you can check periodically on the website for the ones that you wanted a little different time for.

Yay! All our ADR's are done now, except for the last 4 days, can't book those til the 13th.

Dinner: California Grill - 9:25pm (originally wanted 8pm, but works out ok as the CM sort of confirmed that that night looked like a MNSSHP night, so if Hallowishes starts at 9:30pm we can either enjoy our appetiser and then watch the fireworks or watch them first and then eat dinner)

I guess you won't even be seated at 9.25! CG has a habit of running late!!!!!!! You know that you can always secure a "better" time online, then cancel your original ressie!

Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table - 5:15pm (originally wanted 8:30pm, a bit disappointed with this time, but with restaurants like these you have to be flexible and luckily we aren't in any parks these days so its not like we have to work around this time)

Try online! If you get the time you desire, just let go of your original ressie, no problem - been there, done that! ;)

Dinner: Coral Reef - 8:10pm (originally wanted 7:30pm so we could use our preferred location for Illuminations, but that was all she had available - no problem though as we have figured out another day to use preferred viewing)

I think 7.30 would have been too close for Illuminations any way! They have a habit of running late too and I don't know if you are eating fast or very slow, like I do, but we plan at least 1.5 hours in the restaurant from check in to getting out - and that is fast for us. But then we enjoy some coffee and I am not speed eating, like most Americans! (No offense here, I am just a VERY slow eater! :goodvibes)

We also booked our preferred viewing for Illuminations on the Wednesday. She couldn't confirm where we needed to go for check in. She said that it used to be Morocco, but it has now changed, but the best thing to do is check with guest services any time that we get to WDW. Might ring before we go just to check and see if its up by them.

I was still told it WAS Morocco ........ I'll be there before you and I'll let you know!! :thumbsup2

Thanx :goodvibes The time changes aren't too bad, its only the CRT one that I was disappointed with. You could be right in that its the change of characters at dinner that might make is a bit harder to get an ADR. I might check back a few times to see if I can change the time though.

Thanx :goodvibes We are really happy with what we got...uh oh, just realised that I missed one ADR...better go edit that post (will be under Saturday 3rd).

I think we can book online, but I think you need a 12 digit reference and what I have is only 6 digits. Might ring back next week and see if I can book online. But it would be useful to be able to check back now and again. We may or may not end up changing some of the Captain Cook Breakfasts to Kona or GF Cafe Breakfasts.

Sure you can book online - I do it ALL the time, remember! ;) If you want your +10 or connect it to your reservation, you need to call Disney uk and they will give you a weird number - mine starts with fff :confused3 but it works - only for dining though, but you can connect your ressie to your ADRs. If you book lateron, or won't connect the two, you do NOT need a reservation number - it's easy!

Thanx Karin :thumbsup2 I wonder where it would be if it wasn't Morocco?

Cali Grill - We are going to aim to get there for 9pm or just before. Are the odds low that we would be seated before our reservation time? I suppose I don't mind eating after Hallowishes (I just hope the buzzer doesn't go off during - they wouldn't do that would they?).

I think I will look into online booking just because of CRT, just need to ring for my reference number to use and find the website too.

Here ya go!

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/dining/cinderellas-royal-table/reservations/

If you need any others - go to the us site and choose where to eat!

As for Cali Grill - I doubt they will seat you any earlier. We HAVE waited there quite a bit! ;)
If you are concerned about the buzzer - just tell them when you arrive in the actual restaurant.
You need to sign in at the second floor and someone will take you up to the restaurant - let them know you want to watch the fireworks before being seated if you are close to fireworks time.
Otherwise if you are seated earlier let your server know right away you want to go outside to watch the fireworks.
I would strongly advise you to watch from the observation deck - the one at the back is FAR less crowded than the one you get to at the front of the restaurant.

Boo, it won't go up to October :(

Thanx for the tips for Cali :goodvibes I knew there were two observation decks, are they easily sign posted? We will defo tell the CM that we plan on watching outside and also if we need to hold back our entrees if we do, by some miracle, get seated earlier.

If you get your "dining uk number" it will give you the 10+ days and it might save you from calling again!

The observation deck I mean is to the right of the elevator if you stand facing it - if you know what I mean :lmao: - yes, sometimes I really wish I were able to speak this language properly! ;)
You have to go past the restrooms and straight on - you can't go wrong! :thumbsup2

Congrats on getting most of your ADRs!!!

Doesn't the trip just feel so much closer once all that is booked and ready to go?? yay! :yay::yay:

Thanx :goodvibes

It does feel that much closer, hopefully these last few months go by quick :)

It is a great feeling, now we can focus on other little things that we want to do. I still need to research the best way to get to and from our shopping day, but that shouldn't take too long.

I now have a new obsession, that being reading up about Disney Cruises etc We saw a Cruise ship set sail yesterday and it got me thinking about how we want to do a land and sea for our Disneymoon.

Hope everyone is well and that you all had a lovely Easter :)
