Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

I am sure a cruise with a friend would be lots of fun, could be a girly cruise. You could pamper yourself in the spa, drink cocktails on deck and just relax and chill :beach:

Mmmmm, that does sound rather convincing........

3 Words - Refillable. Beer. Mug. :drinking1

:woohoo: Now we're talking!! Actually I'm more of a fru-fru drink girl... anything blended with a teeny umbrella in it!

The butterfly garden was absolutely gorgeous and those grounds were lovely. I agree with you about covering that structure with flowers.... there seemed to be a few odd colour choices there. :upsidedow

What a lovely place:cloud9: I hope you get to book it soon:)

Me too, is rather exciting. Got to get my thinking cap on for ideas soon :goodvibes

How could it not, sun, sea and cocktails, not to mention Castaway Cay :goodvibes

:rotfl: Same here, I prefer cocktails too, more fruity :goodvibes

Thanx, I think they are still working on that structure to add things here and there. Dave actually came up with the idea to cover it in flowers and I think it will look perfect and in theme with our Secret Garden Wedding :goodvibes We might go back in August for a break and stay there, hopefully we can.

Wow, what a place! It looks wonderful. :flower3:

I love the pictures! You have a very cute family.

Thank you :) It is such a lovely place and I am thrilled that my parents like it. They still don't get our Disney obsession and I thought that they might think the Manor was a bit OTT. But my mum pulled me to one side and said I really like it and want to stay here :cutie:

So did they give you the quote you were hoping for? Did you book it?!

What a beautiful place for a wedding! But I imagine there's beautiful places like that all over the UK.

We got back a quote and the price is what we were hoping for. We know that it will increase slightly though as she gave a rough price per head for food.

I need to speak to my dad about numbers first, but he did say that if it was what we expected we should book straightaway. I think I will wait for them to get back to me with better figures for the food first, but it shouldn't be a problem getting a date, only problem is narrowing down what day.

It is such a lovely enchanting place and will be perfect for what we want to do.

I might start a planning journal over on the wedding boards once its booked :)

Ok people here is the finalised itinerary! We are still debating whether or not to include a Sanna lunch somewhere, so please feel free to jump in if you have any suggestions where we can fit it in :thumbsup2

Wednesday 29th September

Arrival @ Resort ETA:
8pm

Dinner: Captain Cook's 2CS

We are hoping our room will be ready by the time we check in. We are going to check in the old fashioned way, savour every moment of being at the Poly, even silly things such as checking in. We want the whole experience :teeth:

Once we have found our longhouse/room and checked it out and officially "moved in" (moved in meaning all my stuff just gets sprawled over the bed and here there and everywhere  ) we will then wander down to Captain Cooks, grab a quick bite and hopefully snag the swing seat to watch Wishes at 9pm.

Thursday 30th September

Magic Kingdom Day - 9am-7pm (EMH)

Breakfast: Captain Cook's 2CS

Lunch:
Liberty Tree Tavern 2TS - 2pm

Dinner: California Grill 4TS - 9:25pm

This will our first full day at MK. We like to make this our first park of the trip as MK is what Disney is to us. It closes at 7pm, but opens at 8am for EMH, so we are going grab a FP for either SM or BTMR, then hit Fantasyland for some playtime with Pooh and Friends and some other Fantasyland rides pooh: Then on to Tomorrowland for a round of Buzz, SpM, Stitch and TTA :stitch: maybe the Laugh Floor if we get time, as we will be aiming to leave around 4pm-ish, when party goers tend to arrive for MNSSHP.

Friday 1st October

Animal Kingdom Day - 9am-8pm (EMH)

Breakfast: Captain Cook's 2CS

Lunch: Flame Tree BBQ 2CS

Dinner: Boma 2TS - 7:55pm

AK is our second full park day. Plan is to make our way to KS for a FP and then maybe check out Camp Minnie Mickey for some character interaction. Once our FP's are up we'll mosey on over to KS for our first safari of the trip. Then we'll take a stroll over to Asia to hunt down a Yeti, taking some pics along the way for clues of his whereabouts ;) stopping on the way to grab a FP for Kali. Hopefully, once we have found the Yeti, we can then go a hunting for some Tiggers down the Maharajah Jungle Trek :tigger: then off to refuel at Flame Tree for a Pulled Pork Sandwich :) Its also a PM EMH, closing at 8pm, so would be cool to stick around for some park pics in the dark, but it might be cutting it close as we have a 7:55pm ADR at Boma.

Yay Epcot day! Love Epcot, our fav park after MK :yay: We start the day off early with breakfast with some Princesses (I hope Belle is there in her Yellow gown to greet us), then take a trip around the world soaking it all in. Maybe pick a pearl in Japan, as its a must on all our trips (for me that is). Then on to Nine Dragons for a scrummy Chinese lunch. Once we have had our fill of travelling the world, might try and lend a hand to Kim Possible on a Mission, then hot foot it over to Future World for some fast paced driving on Test Track and then soar above San Fran on a glider, if its not too busy. Might go and visit Nemo and Friends, then on to Coral Reef for a spot of dinner.

IoA/US Day

Our first full day at DHS, we are going to join the early morning crowd and run for FP’s for Toy Story Mania :crowded: and hopefully ride it once we have obtained said FP’s. Then on to gatecrash Aerosmith’s after party on a Rockin Rollercoaster. We are going to brave the elevator at the Hollywood Tower Hotel, hopefully they have fixed it, as it keeps breaking down occasionally, its like its got a mind of its own :scared1: Then off to go join Woody and friends at Pizza Planet for a spot of lunch and some arcade games. We have a couple of dates with some princesses, one wants us to go on a voyage with her and the other wants to take us to a theatre show, sounds exciting and fun. Then its off to The Beach Club for some dinner and a kitchen sink?!? But we shall see. Then its back to DHS to catch Fantasmic which is showing at 8pm :smickey: hopefully this time the weather will be calm and the show goes on, as we have never seen it before.

Friday 8th October

Downtown Disney Day

Breakfast: Goofy’s Candy Co

Lunch: Earl of Sandwich 2CS

Dinner: Cosmic Rays 2CS

Goofy’s has invited us to breakfast this morning so we are going to bus it over to DTD to join him :goofy: We figure seeing as we are there we should do a bit more shopping and wandering, hopefully end up in EoS for some lunch. We think that this will be a MNSSHP night and should have tickets for it, so after DTD we will go back to the resort to refresh ourselves, then go over to MK for some dinner with Sonny and then party the night away with the ghosts and goblins :hmghost: :maleficen

Lunch: Undecided

Dinner: Narcoossee’s 4TS – 5:30pm

Another non park day, but I sure we will end up in one of them after golf. We are having an early dinner as we are hoping that the Wishes Dessert Party is extended and we, by some miracle, get a spot for this evening, so early dinner is the key if we want to pig out on all the yummy desserts. MK also closes at 2am, so we want to try and stay til at least closing and maybe catch the Kiss Goodnight :love1:

Monday 11th October

Animal Kingdom Day

Breakfast: Donald’s Safari Breakfast at Tusker House 2TS – 9:30am

Lunch: Yak & Yeti Counter Service 2CS

Dinner: Jiko The Cooking Place 4TS – 7pm

A late start today what with our late/early morning stint at MK the night before. Think we will take this AK day at a nice slow pace and soak in the everything, scenery, rides and try and jump on the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Tuesday 12th October

Magic Kingdom & Epcot Day

Breakfast: Crystal Palace 2TS – 8:05am

Lunch: Chef’s de France 2TS – 2pm

Dinner: Yachtsmans Steakhouse 4TS – 8pm

Our last full park day :( SO we are going to spend it in our fav parks and do any last minute bits that we need to do. Hopefully we will get to meet Remy at lunch, he did promise he would stop by, but I heard that he is busy making preparations for his new restaurant on board the new Cruise Liner, The Disney Dream. We thought we would also end the night/trip with a bang and go for dinner at the Yachtsman, a good steak and some nice wine should be the perfect way to end the trip, however sad it might be.

Wednesday 13th October

Departure Day

Breakfast: Kona Cafe 2TS – 9am

A sad sad day this will be :sad1: We thought breakfast at Kona would be good, like saying goodbye to the resort and promising that we will be back soon.

Et Voila! :3dglasses Fin

For Sanaa... how about Sunday 3rd or 10th?

Emma princess: xx

It is possible to go on those dates, but the only problem is on the 3rd we are eating dinner early at Le Cellier and on the 10th we are hoping to attend the Wishes Dessert party, so won't want to eat too much that day.

Hello All :wave2:

How are we all?

The weather in London this weekend has been gorgeous, I wish we didn't have to go to work tomorrow.

I had a great day yesterday, took my friend to Knightsbridge for some shopping and lunch and then went for a lovely stroll in Hyde Park afterwards :goodvibes

So you know how I have been talking about DCL, well one of my purchases yesterday was Cruise inspired :rolleyes1 I know, I know, buying this early for next year is just crazy, but I have had my sights set on this particular item for a while now.

What do you guys think?

I have one in a darker brown and love it, it cinches in at the sides and becomes smaller for everyday use, but when its like this I use it for weekends or as a carry on. I love it, my special treat to myself for working my butt off since the beginning of the year.
