A little late joining in but I'm here! Ahhhh the Poly, you are going to love it! Definitely jealous about that.
Time to catch up...
I would totally fall in those shoes! I'm much too clumsy for wobbly shoes!
Lol, yeah. We are still going through the Disney movies in release date order. So far we have watched, Snow White, Pinocchio, Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. We will most prob watch Dumbo this weekend as that was supposed to come after Pinocchio.
Got another reveal later on tonight and I must get on with posting my Must Do List for MK.
We have just over one week before we can start making ADR's am really excited, but also nervous as the hours for October are still not out yet and we are hoping (and praying) they don't release the at the same time our ADR's are up.
Great Deal on the DVDs!! I LOVE a good bargain! The jackets look great, but the shoes look a bis "scary"! Well, then, I am old ......
what do I know!
What a nice idea to watch the Disney movies in release order! Makes me think that I could just put ours in that order on the DVD shelf! Thanks for giving me ideas on how to spend my weekend!
I know what you mean about having to wait for park hours to be released! I HATE waiting for them and trying to figure out where and when to eat!
So, any particular restaurants you are looking forward to? Are you going to do them online? It was pretty easy for us - and we got everything we wanted THEN! You know that I have changed them around already quite a bit and I still have over 150 days to go,![]()
We started off thinking that if we watch two Disneys every weekend it will help with the impatience of waiting for our trip. It hasn't really worked out that way, but we are plowing our way through the films.
I have actually made an Excel Spreadsheet of all the films we have and the years they were released and then have a separate column to tick once we have watched one. I could send you the sheet if you like, could help when you are arranging your Disney movies
Tell me about it. I have actually just emailed the US Disney site asking about October hours, Party dates and also the Dessert Party. Will let you know what they say (hopefully something good and not cryptic).
I am most looking forward to eating at Cali Grill, will come back to you on the others as can't really remember the ones that are popping out to me
I will be ringing Disney as I would prefer to speak to someone, rather than do it online. I also have this theory that it might be better to call as they might have more info on times, dates etc which might make it easier to get what I want (hope that made sense).
We have also watched Bambi
I am most looking forward to Cali Grill, Yachtsman, Le Cellier, Narcoosee's, Boma, Jiko and Tepan.......fat guy in slim guys bodyI cant wait to eat my weight in steak and then have desert!
I am hoping the hours come out early next week or even better, this weekend! Le Cellier is going to be really difficult to get methinks and we need to know our park dates before hand otherwise we will miss out on this one.
hey! So sorry I took this long to make it over! I could've sworn i subscribed a while ago! i guess not! So sorry!! Well, I'm here and I'm going back to catch up! I'll be right back
Thanx for joining in
Just looking at your dining plans I'm getting full! That's a lot of food but those are great ADRs!! Hoping for a dining review when you come back?
ok i'm back! I just LLLOOVVE those t-shirts you bought (post #13) especially that minnie one! adorable!
Thanx, I can't wait to eat at them all, esp Cali Grill.
Thank you, I have got quite a collection now and may have a reveal for you later.
Maybe we should start watching Disney movies to get us in the spirit also. My DBF is NOT a Disney fanatic so I'm not too sure how hard it's going to be to get him to watch Disney movies!!We shall try!
Its fun as we love all the movies, esp when you are starting at the very beginning, you still have the old school classical music and grand songs![]()
That such a cute tee your got for your DF!! I like it! I don't think my DBF would EVER wear a Disney shirt! lol! That's so great that your DF will! I wish my DBF would want to!
I was actually surprised that he said he liked it. Dave loves to wear character type t shirts so its nice that I can get him stuff like that. Maybe you could start slow with you DBF and get him a tee with something small on it. Like the Polo Shirts with a small Mickey Head like Ralph Lauren ones![]()
That's so hilarious about the Stitch globe?!?!?!I'm glad he liked it though! It's really cute!! And I love that Disney clock!! I think you should get it!
I know, I couldn't believe that I had not given it to him, but better late than never.
I soooo want that clock and am secretly hoping I get it as a birthday present this year, but we shall see. We are in no rush as we have nowhere for it to go right now, but as soon as we get a place of our own I may just caev and splurge on one![]()
I love all your pics from your 2007 trip! Looks like you folks had a great time! I love the costume of the Mad Hatter. I vote for the Mad Hatter costume! So Cute!!
Thank you, we took so many and had so much fun.
I like that costume too, mostly just the top part. Am trying to figure out a way of just wearing that part and the hat and then figuring out what to wear on the bottom (don't really want to wear the skirt TBHWY)
As for the Skechers, I like the 3rd one...but of course I love pink!! lol! As for the Tiaras, I like the 2nd one. it's a little bit bigger and a little more detail!
Those pink ones are really cute in the flesh. Gosh this is dangerous territory as there are so many styles and I love loads of them, gonna cost me a fortune.
I love both tiaras, will have to have a look back soon and order one of them, otherwise I will forget to get them knowing me.
Those cupcakes look wonderful!! And that's so nice of you to buy that stitch doll for your friend! So thoughtful!
They are delish, I have had to put myself on a ban though as they are just too bad and I always want them, which is not good for my waistline I tell you.
She loved it when she opened the bag and he is sitting on her desk as we speak.
I have to go for now, but I'll be sure to catch up on everything else later! Can't wait to read it all!
Thank you for reading and jumping on board, pleasure to have you here![]()
*keala*![]()
We have also watched Bambi

Your first paragraph sound so much like us, when we decided to watch ALL the planning videos we have (I order them in my UK aunt's name, as we can't get any here)
I have ordered the planning DVD's since the first time we went to WDW. The first one from 2007 was really good and informative, but since then its been kinda "meh"
And yes, I would LOVE to have your spreadsheet if you are willing to share it with me! Thank you for offering!
PM me your email address and I will send it to you tonight![]()
I am really interested in Disney's answer to your inquiry about park hours. I hate how they mostly give you a blah blah answer when you ask about something that is important to YOU!
Me too, will let you know what they say, if I get a reply.
I don't blame you for calling them to make ADRs! The thing I really hate about it is that sometimes they leave you hanging in the loop forever (had a 55 minute wait once!) and then you get a CM whose English is worse than mine and I don't understand a word of what they are saying, let alone understand the confirmation numbers. And I really enjoy that you get a confirmation email when booking online, so you've got something in hand to show that you actually HAVE a reservation, LOL!
Each to their own I suppose. Both times we have been I have phoned and not had a problem. I just have this fear that if I do it online I won't get much in the way of options, times etc. But then I always was a worry wort![]()
Feel free to get back to me with any restaurants questions. I hope I can help!
Thank you I will do. I also remembered to add WPE to our CS List as from all your reviews there I really want to try those flatbreds![]()
Oh, Bambi! I remember watching that in the cinema when I was little, cried my eyes out,
I remember when I was little I cried too and hated that part in the movie![]()
I LOVE the restaurant lineup you have so far! Cali Grill - always a favourite! And even if you don't get LeCellier at your first try, don't give up, I was able to get a ressie about 2 weeks before we left last summer - thanks to being persistant with checking the online system.
We are giving Narcoossee's a second try this summer after having one of the worst meals ever there. I SO HOPE they had just a bad day that day!
When was your bad experience at Narcoossee's? Have I read about it in your latest? Or is that still to come?
And I'll keep my fingers crossed for the two of you to find out park hours soon - Disney UK is good at posting them early! LOVE Disney UK!!!
Thanks, I really hope so. One thing though on the UK Site, they have not posted any of the EMH's after May this year which I find strange. Or is it me looking in the wrong place?
That was an awesome deal on the movies!
How recently was Dumbo released on DVD? I love that movie, though I might not be able to watch it because it makes me cry. Even the song 'Baby Mine' makes me cry. And I am not usually emotional about movies!
Good luck with your ADRs! I've ignored mine since making them, so I don't start shifting things around and making myself nuts. I hope you guys get everything you want!
When was your bad experience at Narcoossee's? Have I read about it in your latest? Or is that still to come?
It's been a little while back, I think it was in 2008! We had a reservation about an hour before Wishes and first had to wait for about half an hour until we were seated. Then our main courses were put on the table just when they dimmed the lights - the filets were cooked all different ways, just not the way we had ordered them and were just lukewarm and the lobster tail was tough and chewy - didn't like it at all. We could not even complain, as our waiter disappeared for about 40 minutes!!!
Then I got burnt Creme Brulee and Tom had the ice-cream sampler and two flavours tasted really off (one tasting of barbeque spice)
We vowed NEVER to go back - two years on we are giving it a second try - we HOPE so MUCH this was just an off night and that we might get to see Wishes after all. (Couldn't see them the first time as we were seated in an elevated part of the restaurant and all we could see was part of the castle!![]()
Sorry you had a bad experience, hopefully it will be miles better next timeI thought there was an area outside you can walk on to watch Wishes? Im probably wrong on that though.
Yes, there actually is an area outside for people to watch the fireworks. But we were "kind of" tied down with the plates on the table, LOL! I timed it differently this time and we all hope it will work out better this time!
