Hey everyone - not getting married anytime soon, but if i were it would almost definitely be a DFTW!

Just wondering if anyone knows if dogs are allowed in the DFTW ceremonies? Anyone ever heard of this? :goodvibes

Sorry, it's absolutely not allowed by Disney.

Ditto - I asked on the off chance that it would be when I started on my DFTW journey and no such luck! Sorry!

If its super important to you maybe they could make it work. I don't think they would allow dogs at any of their usual ceremony sites - but maybe if you wanted to do something outside near the kennel at fort wilderness or something they would allow it.

If you are willing to be super flexible about location then maybe its worth asking.

I have two black Labs and they are my babies...I'm sad they won't be able to share a part in our day. What I'm going to do to make up for it, is take pictures of my dogs and put them on each of our tables at our reception as our "table names". I'm probably going to hang like a number or something around their neck, to signify which table is which.

I know it sounds silly but if you're a dog lover you understand! :lovestruc

This is something that I don't think Disney has ever said yes to - even at the outdoor locations.

I am doing this as well. I saw on theknot some one took pictures of there dogs on the beach and in the sand they wrote the table number and took a picture with the dog siting next to the number in the sand. It was really cute.

I wanted my little 10lb Bichon to be flower girl, but they wouldnt allow it
I was so upset the poor thing was in the kennel all day- but we made sure she got extra attention, we got her doggy ice cream, extra walks and snuggle time

One idea if you want your dog to be a part of your day is if say you had the dog at the kennel near the poly and you are getting married at the WP, maybe your photographer can go over to the kennel and you can take the dog out for some pictures??
