For those of you following the story of the missing Pomerian dog from a dog show in MD last weekend..here's an article from this morning..courtesy of the local paper
Cumberland Times- News article says "Pilfered pooch in good care"..a prize pomerian show dog missing from the Alleghany County Fairgrounds during the Laurel Highlands Kennel Club Dog Show on Friday has been located and is 'safe and being cared for' according to the C3I Unit.
The dog, initally reported as owned by Bonnie Gaye Stetson of Tallmadge Onio, was apparently taken by it's co-owner'
"it has been learned that a co-owner may possibly have removed Lord Wilton from the Allegany County Fairgrounds and/or orchestrated the removal of the dog from the show. The ownership of the dog is undetermined at this time" police said.
A C31 official said the investigation will remain open 'pending determination if there is a criminal or civil matter'.
The 2 year old show dog was said to have an estimated value of $50,000. It was apparently removed from the fairgrounds when the owner took another dog to show, police said.
