The Disney kennels do not have an attendant 24/7 however security does check in on the kennels during the night. The last person to leave, makes sure that all the dogs have water in the bowls and it is one of the first things checked in the morning.
The kennels are air-conditioned. All dogs stay in the air-conditioning unless...the owner asks for an outside kennel (and even then they remind owners of how hot it gets) or the dog is a day visitor that forgot his papers (well, the owners forgot the dogs papers). You must have your papers to show proof of that all immunizations are up to date.
I have used the disney kennels quite often in the past prior to moving to the area. I liked the Epcot Kennel the best. You will need to go walk your dog, but that never bothered me since I brought the dog knowing that...had I not wanted to bother with it, I would have boarded him back where I lived at the time. Also, if for some reason you are not able to walk them before the kennel closes, security will come and open the kennel for you to walk your dog...you just need to produce your pink slip.
Overall, I have been pleased with the Kennel. A few years ago, many of the kennel workers went through training with the AKA. At the time Disney was thinking of upgrading the services, but to many renovations would have to be done. However, they did find the training beneficial to those who worked in the kennel so they kept sending people. I haven't used the kennels for over a year, so I am not sure if they are still doing it.
