Does your dog like to give them or not?

Personally I like getting them. My one dog - an Australian Shepperd - loves to give them. My Golden Retriever will ONLY give them if she sees that you have a food treat waiting.

And, no, I don't care about germs. That which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, I say.

My boxer LOVES to give kisses!!! He doesn't care who you are...he LOVES everyone!!! I don't mind getting them from my Gunner, but ya never know where another dog's tounge has been!!

I tell my dog the only time to give me kisses if I am unconscious on the floor. I don't care about germs, it just bugs me. Now, puppy kisses on the other hand I am okay with, but once the dog passes the 100 pound mark and the tongue is as big as I am--No thank you.

My brother's doberman is hilarious. If you look at her and go, "Jasmine, gimme a kiss!" She bounds over and licks your cheek. I think it's adorable.

Doogie kisses make my skin turn red, get hot, itch and hives to form. I love dogs but I have to be very careful around them.

Dogs are no more "germy" then humans.......just different bacteria. I LOVE doggie kisses! I've even been known to let my pooch lick off of my ice cream cone.....bring on those germs!!

My boy will give an occasional kiss. I always know it is sincere. Now this morning, he was kissing/licking my big toe. At first I thought he was being sweet, then I realized he was just tenderizing me. Kisses=good; chomping=bad.

I have one dog that gives kisses on request, one that sometimes gets so excited she'll practically put your eye out with her nose and then other times looks at you like, "you've got to be kidding - I don't do that". I have two other dogs that are very old men now and don't give kisses anymore - not that you'd really want them to; their breath isn't so minty fresh these days!

All in all I'd say we're very affectionate with our four-legged babies!

My 10 month old dog loves to give kisses, especially on the eyes and he likes to nibble them gently while giving kisses. He will give kisses on request also. We just got a new puppy this past weekend and she seems like she will like to give kisses also, she also seems to like the eyes. I am a germ phobe but doggie kisses don't bother me My husband doesn't understand that either. He thinks doggie kisses are gross but I have seen him recently allowing the dogs to kiss him

Ick. Max likes to give kisses, and I'm seriously not into it. If you get down at Max's level (which I have to do every time I, for example, help my son with his shoes, etc) he thinks it is a request for a big sloppy wet one. Eeeeeew. I kiss my cats to get on their nerves when they get in my face, but I don't want a big sloppy dog tongue coming at me.

I thank him anyhow...I know it's a sign of affection. Eeew.

NO! Eww, eww! But I do love giving kisses on the top of the head or on top of the snout.

I also like getting a good foot bath. The dog in my avatar is the lickiest dog I've ever had, and as long as it's just the feet, I'm fine with that.

I love getting dog kisses and my golden loves giving them. A match made in heaven! There's lots of things I worry about (just ask my therapist!) but doggie kisses isn't one of them.

LOVE it!!! We have a Cocker Spaniel and he is quite the kisser. He will slather me with kisses, I have to be fast and shut my eyes or he'd lick straight across my face and across my eyes!!

My brother had a Cocker Spaniel that sadly, he had to put down this week at the age of 18! He on the other hand was a stingy kisser. He'd always give me a kiss but pretty much no one else. And even then it would just be a tiny little kiss and that was it. Unlike my dog who would eventually lick my skin raw if I allowed it!
