I have a year old female (spayed) Jack russel. She is a great dog. Very high energy.
On the way home from the airport yesterday, we came across a young dog running down the middle of the highway. Cars flying by and almost hitting the poor thing. OF course we stopped and called puppy and here it came right to the car. Very dirty and wet and scared to death. Tried to find owner along that area without luck. So we brought it home. The Jack just about tore her apart. We were going to keep her here, run an ad in the papers and contact the local vets offices. Well, no way would the queen of the house allow that. So a friend agreed to help and keep her while we look for the real owners. Sweet little pup that I would have kept in a heartbeat if Dot would have allowed it.
Anyone know of any way to get my Jack to relax? She was so agressive it was terrible. I was afraid of her.
Thanks for any hints.
