Does your TDS show those tear jerky commercials?

My kids and I went to The Disney Store (TDS) yesterday. I turned around to see if my dd had made her decision on something and looked up at their big screen tv thing when I turned around and stopped dead in my tracks. They were showing the one where the couple were eating dinner and the guy gave his love the glass slipper. That is so romantic. It makes me get goose bumps and teary-eyed everytime I see it. I must've looked like an idiot gaping at the screen like that. My ds just looked at me and then the screen and rolleyed his eyes. He said "oh, that one again ". That's the first time I've noticed they played the commercials in there. I'll know to be prepared the next time we go in there.

I believe they play them in all the stores. I love that commercial and I get the same reaction as you when I see it.

Yes! I was at our Disney Store on saturday and they played that commercial. It took them a while to get to the point but I had to see what it was all about. Oh my goodness, I got such a lump in my throat and then got a bit teary. What a sweet commercial!

Jill...who managed to get out of the store by buying ONLY a princess t-shirt for DD4, a different Princess shirt for one of DH's friends daughter. (they are having a baby next week and I had bought the baby something and wanted to get the big sister something too) And we pre-ordered Treasure Planet and got the lithographs.

They were having some great deals on t-shirts - many were 50% off.

Uncle Tony, your niece is sappier than any pine tree ever thought about being. I used to be so tough. I guess having kids made me human.

JESW, I got several things for my kids. At 50% (well, 60%, I used my DC) I would've been upset with myself had I not bought a few things. The Castmember at the checkout tried to get us to buy Treasure Planet, but my kids haven't really acted like they were interested in seeing it, so I declined.

ltldeb, I'm glad you and JESW had the same reaction I did.
