Does your S.O. mind how much you Dis ?

My DH doesn't mind a bit. We have two computers so me DISing a lot is not an issue. He always loves to hear me talk about my stories from the DIS boards.

She reads over my shoulder quite often here. She only posts on another Disney board though.

DH has made comments about me being online and then I remind him of the tv shows he watches and that is the end of that.

Nope, not at all. We met online, afterall.

We each have a laptop, and we have a desktop. Most evenings, he'll sit on his laptop and do work and I'll sit on mine and do school work and DIS (I'm a multitasker ).

Actually he doesn't know how much time I spend Dissing. I'm a SAHM so I usually am on when the kids are in school. He's a CPA and since its his busy time at work even if I go on after the kids are in bed he's not home. I tell him things about the DIS and he'll tease me about it, but I don't think he really cares as long as everything gets done around the house and the kids are well taken care of.

Dh thinks I have more important things to do that go on message boards. He thinks the basement should be cleaned, the walls washed, etc. before I waste time on needless "things". Little does he know that while he is at work and the kids are at school I spend a lot of time on the web.

My DH has no clue, since I usually only DIS from work. He thinks we are a bunch of freaks!

Ya know, he did used to tease me, and he'd listen to me talk about some of the crazy threads I follow.

And I am home all day, doing daycare, and just this week I actually did bring the laptop into the kitchen, so it was easier to check on my threads once in a while. But I still took care of the kids, kept up with the house, did the laundry, etc. An occasionally peek online isn't hurting anything.

And I've been having trouble sleeping lately, so some nights I sit up late on here, to take my mind off the real world. ((((HI ASH!!! May the force be with you )))))

Anyway, thanks for the responses. I was wondering if anybody else had this issue.

No, not at all. He doesn't mind. As a matter of fact he is glad when I pick up tips for our trip.

Mine doesn't mind...because he doesn't know how much I REALLY Dis. He just took the kids outside for a bit and the second he closed the door...well here I am

Not too much... At times, I have the feeling she just thinks I'm nuts -- but when this vacation concludes and she realizes how much we were able to accomplish I have a feeling she'll admit it was time well spent...
