Shennonandtom. Keep calling !! I had heard this so many times so I tried it.I had a reservation made through WDWtravel. my total was $3978.24 for a room only at Fort Wilderness for 16 nights. I then called and got my Disneyclub discount of $596.80 (well worth the $39.00 a year for membership). At the time I asked about a code discount for AP holders and she checked and told me it was no good. I kept looking on mousesavers and decided to try again by calling CRO which they tell me try harder. Well the lady at CRO told me it was a WDWtravel ressie so she would have to transfer me. The lady at WDW travel was very nice and when given the code she checked it and said "yes this will save you some more" . I nearly fell over when the savings was another $912.10. This brought my $3978 ressie down to $2469 for a total savings of $1508.09 So KEEP CALLING !!!! Another thing some people don't know is if your first night of your stay is in off peak season the rate stays off peak for the whole trip. I tried to book starting Dec19 (the last day of off peak) and was told there was no availability, she asked if i could come on the 20th. I said yes but that would put me in peak season wouldnt it? She replied yes, let me look farther. She came back & said she could fill my request if I came in on the 17th, 2 extra days on my trip & a huge savings. So sometimes it pays to book a day earlier even if you cant be there the first night. I am lucky and can be there earlier.
