Does your kitchen window(s) face...

Mine faces the front which is where our yard is so it works out perfectly for us. I can see my kids playing or guests arriving. I have no back yard, just a cliff, and very little flat ground to play in the back.

I don't know if mine qualifies as "middle" or "other." Like one of the other posters, my sink faces the family room but I can look over the kitchen table and out the bay windows or deck doors and see trees.
Well, at least I will after it's done being built! Our last house had a kitchen like this too and I loved it!

we dont have windows we have french doors facing the back in the kitchen.

Mine looks out on our 3 season porch which is on the side of the house. The porch has lots of windows though and I can see one of my gardens from my kitchen.

You can see our deck and wooded backyard from the kitchen window(s). Since we finally got around to cleaning up all the dead wood that was strewn about the backyard and mulched the whole area with wood chips, the view is much nicer. Kind of like looking out into a park. And we have lots of squirrels jumping from tree to tree. Right now they are collecting acorns for winter. We are very fortunate to have a wooded area behind our house to buffer us from the rest of the neighborhood.

What's a 3 season porch? ...and why not a four season porch!!!

A three season porch is generally a screened in deck that is not heated. You can go out onto the porch in the wintertime, but it is VERY cold. Not a pleasant place to be.

Mine faces back...through the family room (open floor plan) and also to the side, and to front, if I'm looking out the "corner" widows. (sort of like a bay window)
