Does your Kids always leave a Note as to Where they are

If they don't want the locks changed when they get home they do.... No really, I don't have many rules, but I do insist they tell me where they are, and I do the same for them. If I am going out I will leave a note telling them where I am. I tell them its a manners issue not a trust issue.

yep, i always do..if not , my parents say they will take my car awy..dont know if they are kidding or not, but dont wanna risk it!

I think I was a pretty lenient parent ( my kids might say differently lol ) but one rule that was absolute was that I always had to know where they were.

When I was younger, I did. Once I graduated from HS, I stopped leaving notes, my parents haven't complained.

That was a must do.Even after they graduated from high school.They were to give me a general idea who they were with,what they wre doing and what time the were going to be home.So I knew when and if to start worrying.

DD20 is excellent at that. Even though she's on her own at college, she always leaves me a note when she's home.

DS15 is fairly good - he'll communicate somehow, either by leaving me a message with another family member or calling me.

Both have cell phones, so it's easy to keep in touch.
