Does your kid suspect persons behind characters ?

When we took ds to Disney World in November he was a early 4 and he believed the characters were real, but, he now knows its ppl dressed up (have no idea how he made the connection just in that short of time) but I was also sad. I'm glad we made the Disney trip when we did - so we 'hit' the whole 'magical age' thing. We are going back in Oct., and I know we will see a different look in his eyes, don't get me wrong - they will still be full of excitement and joy, but, the whole magical thing with the characters won't be there!!
