Does your child's school track your volunteer hours?

At my son's school you log in to the computer at the office when you sign in and log off when you leave. I think it is similar to a timeclock but it is on the computer. I'm not sure what software they use, but it looks really simple. Nothing fancy.

You could set this up pretty easily on excel, require everyone to sign in when they get there-have a computer or laptop someplace for that. If there are errors then it is the fault of the family so that should keep that down to a minimum. You simply need 3 columns set up-one for the event, one for the date and one for the hours worked. Set the hours worked to total automatically-simple. Each family could have a folder saved in the excel file so it is easy to find.
