Does your cat kiss you?

I have a 4 year old cat who has always been very affectionate. However, in the last few months, after we got a dog, she has started to actually "kiss" me. She comes up to me and licks my nose, just like the dog does!

I have never actually known a cat to do that before, does anyone else have a cat that does this?

Yup, we have one that is a licker.

She loves to lick people so much we think she must be part dog.

She will follow your arm while you pet her and try and lick it the whole time.

She's such a sweetheart.

Yes, we used to have a cat that was a kisser. Thank goodness he had a nice long life because he was a real love, one of the best cat's we've had.

That's too cute. The cat I had in my teens did that. He had such a personality. He'd sit on your chest while you slept and wait for you to wake up (which didn't take long when he did this because he was heavy! lol). When you woke up he'd kiss. If we had company we'd have to warn them to close the bedroom door because he'd do it to them too. Freaked a few people out that way.

My 2 cats don't lick us, but they give what I call nosy kisses. They come up and rub their noses against mine. I did it to them when they were kittens and they still do it - the one is almost 10! My DH's cat doesn't do it though and hates it when I try.

Both of my cats lick, but the male licks A LOT! He normally sleeps cuddled up against me and a few times has licked a spot on my hand raw while I was asleep ! He licks a lot more than our 2 dogs combined.

Our Kitten (he's nearly 8 mos old now) is a nuzzler. We started early with him by rubbing our faces against his. He now does it to us all the time. He will sit on our chest and try to insert his nose into our nostrils.

Mine licks me and I hate it. Kitty germs--ewww!!

I do have one that gives me a head massage every night. I guess my hair makes a nice place for him to sleep. Now if only he'd retract those claws!!!

Mine doesn't, but I don't know if it's because I wouldn't let her anyway or if she just doesn't.

Every once in a while when I'm reclining in a chair, she'll climb up on my chest and nuzzle my neck and it sounds like she's trying to suck at it. She did that as a kitten, so I think it's a comfort thing. I don't let her do it all that often, though.

Both my cats do! One does it only on my hand and nose. The other is an all around face kisser. I've not had a cat that I can recall that didn't kiss me

I have 2 cats one started as a kitten licking us on the tip of our noses at 3am
every night now he just kisses our checks. the other cat licks your hand when you pet him.There really lovable cats

I have one cat who is a licker sometimes when she's in one of her rare cuddly moods. (She mostly just likes to play and try to bite, but she's still only a year old!)

My other cat I don't think has ever licked anyone at all, though he's a lap kitty.

My old cat that died a few years ago was a MAJOR licker-- he'd lie in bed next to me and lick my face until it felt raw. I felt so bad pushing him away but it got really annoying!!!

Not only is my cat a kisser but she also

1-cleans our hair by licking it(dont like to let her do this so she doesnt get
more hairballs)
2-cleans our faces and hands
3-mushes my breast and arm
4-sleep next to us,between us, between our legs, on us anywhere as long
as shes almost attached to us.
5-sits on my head every morning right when the alarm clock should go off
and slaps my head and nose until I wake up-even on the weekend

The cutest thing is when we are sleeping the cat will spoon my husband and I spoon the cat-quite a picture...

At night she comes to me when she feels its my bedtime and just stares until I roll onto my stomach and then pat the bed and she comes and curls into my arm with her head on my pillow..

I dont love my cat do I..by the way shes 17 years old...

We have a kitty who is almost a year old. We brought him home last year the day after Christmas and he's been a loving sweet cat since then. He loves to give kisses, he'll lick your whole face if you'll let him. He gets so concerned when we leave and is waiting at the door when we get home like "where the heck have you been?". He's a good little boy!

I say that as he is currently terrorizing my 2 1/2 year old nephew in the other room right now... LMAO

I was just saying last night that I wished our two cats were more affectionate. One will lick my face a very little, but my sweet girl who passed in April was a big time kisser. She would lie on my chest facing me and not only lick my nose and ears, but, if she was really fired up, she would bite my nose! It was very funny and usually just a light nip. On occasion though, she would bite hard and it hurt!! I miss her so much but I was so lucky to spend some of my life with her.

The new kitten does that. Especially in the middle of the night. Her little sandpaper kiss is so sweet.
