Does WL have luggage check?

Hi. I envisioned that if I check in before "check in" time at the WL (to get park tickets and DDP) & the room isn't available yet, that they will go ahead and take our luggage to a luggage check room. Then when I return, I'll simply go to the room # they gave me at check in and my luggage will be magically waiting in my room in true Disney fashion. Then I started thinking it would be impossible to do that for everyone. Now I'm envisioning my make-up and my family's snacks (ones we bring from home) melting away in the hot September car until we can take our stuff into our room at the end of the day. Which is it? I looked on the WL FAQ but didn't see this info.

Bell Services will hold your luggage for you until you return to check-in.

I don't know if it is air conditioned but I am sure it is better than a
hot car.

We alwasy fly into Orlando, so we use the Magical Express, which delivers our checked baggage straight to our rooms. I have arrived at all different times of the day and my room was always available when I arrived, chances are your resort will be able to accomodate an early check in as well, but if not, then yes you should be able to check your luggage. Now I do not know if WL will deliver it to your room or if you have to pick it up from baggage claim, either way it's not sitting in your hot car.

Just take the stuff out of your car & give it to Bell services & they will hold it until room is ready. Then you call when you get to your room. Sometimes when you check in they will have your room number other times you have to wait until room is ready

There are coolers within the luggage area at Bell Services. As long as you tell Bell Services which bags need to be refrigerated, they will keep it cool for you...........

Bell Services takes your bags when you arrive, they will give you a claim ticket. Once you are in your room call LUGGAGE/VALET on your in-room phone they will ask for you claim ticket # then they will deliver your luggage to your room.

Thanks all! I should have known it would all be just fine, Disney really tries hard to make things go as smoothly as possible.

1) Bell Services holds the luggage.
2) The luggage room is inside, so it is "air conditioned".
3) But, with in-and-out traffic, it is not exactly cool.
4) When you get to your room, call with Claim Check Number.
5) Lugger is brought to you.

NOTE: The luggage room is not secure. Do not store any valuables (money, cameras, etc) in your luggage that is held. Things have come up missing, although not very often.
