Does WDW offer summer discounts?

I just found some great flights to Orlando for next July, and have been pricing out an extended 14-day stay at POR. Yikes! I have never gone to WDW in the summer, only in the spring and fall. I had been able to get general discounts during these times. I was wondering if, historically, WDW offered any special discounts/promotions during the summer months, July in particular? I have given up on the elusive pin codes...have done all the tricks, but have never received one.
