Do they offer a "FastPass" similar to WDW? Or is the only option front of the line pass?

Universal has Express Pass which works just like Disney's FP. If you stay in one of the onsite hotels, you get FOTL access which is limited until 3pm and then you can ride as many times as you wish. On the bigger rides like Hulk, Spiderman and ROTM, the EP's run out quickly on a busy day. Just get there early and try to do those rides first.

FOTL for hotel guests = Unlimited Express Pass (except when limited.)

I've said this once, and I'll say it again, the FOTL moniker is not an accurate name for it.

Universal also has along with express passes Express Plus. You can usually buy it for both parks, but in some seasons you have to buy it for each park or just which ever you want. They prices vary throughout the year. Express plus allows you to use the express line for each ride in the park that you bought it for. You are only supposed to be able to ride each ride with express plus once. Sometimes, however, they don't mark your pass and you can use it again.

It's not limited for hotel guests. There has been no word yet on if the limit will return this summer.

I have purchased these for 29th July. Think it was around $65.00 for two. They are cheaper at less busy times of the year.

The books have a ue for all rides with the ue system and are just handed in when you get to the front of the ue queue. As reported though sometimes the tickets arent taken and can therefore be used again.
