I just spent some time on the Universal web site (first time) and I could not find anywhere where you can sign up to have them surface mail you a video/dvd like WDW does. I am totally unfamiliar with Universal and thought watching the video might be a good introduction.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's been about 4 years since UO had a trip planning video.

While I agree a planning DVD would be the best option for a newbie, you can probably glean all you could possibly want to know about U.S./IOA from these boards by poking around a bit. There's also IOA Central ( http://www.ioacentral.com ), a comprehensive web site with tons of info, tips and insider knowledge.

As well, any questions you have - from the very specific to the very general - can usually be answered quickly by posting here. And you can probably get most of what you need to know fairly quickly - Universal is positively tiny compared to Disney World (although bigger does not necessarily mean better, IMHO) - you won't be faced with the near-bewildering options that Disney presents of where to stay, where to go, etc. ...

Our resort in Florida had a Universal video last year but I never watched it because we were doing Disney. Universal does have great videos on the site, but I can never figure out how to make those boxes bigger, so it tiny pix!

I bought a IOA "highlight " VHS on last years trip.

sc9500 or anyone else, do you have any idea as to where I could purchase one of these VHS tapes? One of my kids is "special needs" and because of this, I'm not sure if Universal would be a good choice for us or not.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I found the tape of IOA yesterday - but it has no address or #or web site to get further info. Sorry

Ruigirl, My son is high functioning autistic and loves USF and IOA. We spend at least a day there. He loves Seuss Landing!
