Does TSMM Re-open after Star Wars fireworks end

If DHS is open until 8:30 or 9 will they reopen TSMM once the 8 pm fireworks end? We have had good luck with short waits right before park closing and would attempt it if we know it will be open. Although, if they are I'm sure everyone will have the same idea!

The fireworks aren't always at 8:00p. DHS rearranged the Fantasmic schedule so that if there is only one Fantasmic, the last event of the evening (at park close) is the fireworks show. If the park closes at 8:30, that's when the fireworks begin.

The schedule currently shows the fireworks at 8 even with 2 Fantasmic's (7 & 9) for when we are there.

If the park is closing at 8:30, then TSMM won't reopen. The Pixar Place area has to be swept for fireworks shells.

With Star Wars fireworks at 8, they will probably be closing TSMM around 7. We learned during a recent visit that this is only an estimated closing time. They have to have the area cleared 30 minutes before the fireworks show starts which means that they can leave the attraction open beyond the stated close time if the line is short. We arrived at the ride 10 minutes before the "closing" time and were able to ride 3 times before they officially shut the gate and cleared the area. We still had plenty of time to find a good spot for the fireworks then the late showing of Fantasmic.

This is good to know! We have FP+ window 6-7 pm...depending when we actually ride, we may be able to jump back in line and ride again. Thanks for the heads up!
