Does TL bus go to DTD Also?

In the past these buses were the same fromsome resorts. Just wondering if we can still get to Donwtown Disney from Typhoon Lagoon by going back out and waiting.

Most buses I have taken from TL have gone to DTD first before picking up at TL and are on their way back to the resort. Might be best to ask the bus driver where he or she is going next.

It seems that in the morning, the busses drop off at TL before going to DTD. In the afternoon, it is reversed.

Ed's got it right. In the morning, buses are routed TL -> MP -> PI. After 12:00, it's MP -> PI -> TL. In order to get from TL to DTD in the afternoon, one would want to take the Saratoga Springs bus, as it is the shortest route to DTD.

Here's a good question for Tyler.

Does Disney have down pat a procedure to avoid having Downtown Disney guests hung up at Typhoon Lagoon for half an hour or more fighting traffic, say if there is a thunderstorm, or if it is TL's closing time?

Specifically having the DTD buses skip TL and in effect have separate buses from resorts to TL and from resorts to DTD during that period?

If the West Side bus stop had not been closed down, traffic problem times at TL could be solved with a TL to West Side shuttle and TL guests transfer to resort buses there.

Indeed, that's a good question. Yes, that light... that wonderful light. Oh how we all love that traffic light. Even when its not raining, it manages to add joy to our lives.

During heavy downpours, when TL closes, and it's a flash flood of people leaving, we have some buses go into TL to pick up, and more buses bypass TL and head straight to the resort.

Thanks Tyler for the tip about how to get from TL to DTD. I like to get as much info before I leave and maybe prevent some problems.
