Does this sound stange?????

I just called to see if I had any codes attached to my name. The cm (Christopher) was very nice and said "yes, your household does, hold on". He came back and said he can't tell how much of a discount it is but said he could give me a price quote. I gave him our dates for Sept and he said the system could not give me the discount because it was "too early". He gave me a full price of the package and said I could book it. I told him I would call back in a week to see what the discount is. He said wait to call back in Mid-March. He put me on hold again before he told me that. Has anyone ever had this kind of experience? I really want free dining but it seems like it's a resort discount. Thanks
 
Sounds odd to me. I've never heard of that. If the CM knows you have a discount attached to your name, why couldn't you go ahead and use it? Why the wait? I would call again, because you often get a different answer with a different CM. I would verify you have a discount/pin attached to your name. Maybe they can give it to you now. If not and they say the same thing as the first CM, you'll know you got correct information and it will help you plan accordingly if you want to book now or wait.
 
Thanks, I will try and call tonight. I thought it sounded odd, especially when he told me to call back in mid-March. He did put me on hold a few times and seemed like he was checking with somebody. Weird.
