A tentative touring plan for Sea World, how does it sound? We plan on being there as soon as they open. We're going end of June on a Saturday or Sunday.

So, we'll likely walk through the Flamingos and Pelicans, then head to our Dolphin Experience. We need to be there at 9:15 for our 9:30 experience. Website says it lasts 10 minutes. Afterward we'll probably do the dolphin feeding and viewing, then walk through the Stingrays, Alligators and Sea Turtles and Turtle Trek. Grab a snack and then head back over for the Dolphin show at 11:30 (plan on being there at 11:00).

After the show we'll do Antarctica (we will have a disability card so hopefully that will cut down on the wait time), Penguin habitat, then probably grab a bite to eat, I'm guessing it'll be 1:00ish by the time we're done eating. Probably do the Shark feeding/encounter, then head over to the Sea Lion show, plan on being there by 1:30 for the 2:00 show.

Then go spend a bit of time in Shamu's Happy Harbour, before heading over for the Shamu show, plan on being there at 3:00 for the 3:30 show.

Does that all sound doable? We really aren't interested in rides at SW, my kids are either too small or too scared for all the main attractions. We're basically doing SW for the animals.

There are two fabulous aquariums that you should add to your to-do list...one is at the Manta ride, the other is at the Journey to Atlantis ride. Even if you have no interest in those rides, do take the time to tour those aquariums. They are well worth the time.

Visiting the sea lions and seals at the Pacific Point Preserve is also worthwhile for animal lovers. Those creatures are super fun to watch....they're like a bunch of brothers wrestling and yelling at each other.

Also, just as a note; The Dolphin Experience has replaced the dolphin feeding. So, once you're dolphin experience is over; you could still hang out with the dolphins; but won't be able to do the feeding.

I agree with what Gina said; but also, I would try to check out the Wild Arctic exhibit where they have Beluga Whales, Seals, and Walrus' (Walrus' are my favorite! there are so few places you can see them!) If you're not interested in the ride; there's always the "non-motion" portion, or you could cheat and go in through the gift shop and walk down the exit. But I would make time to see those animals as well if seeing the animals is why you're going.
