Two and a half weeks ago, our contract went to Disney for ROFR. Today we got a bunch of documents from the title company-buyer's closing statement, warranty deed, new owner set up info, etc. Does this mean I can finally exhale because we've definitely passed ROFR? I guess I expected someone to say "Hey, congratulations, you've passed ROFR" so I'm not really sure. Maybe these documents were sent hopefully, in case we pass. I want so much to have the ROFR behind us, but I'm not sure.

Well, I finally heard back from TTS and yes, it means we did pass. I guess they weren't as nervous about it as I was. I know that when we made the offer, I asked the chances of it being ROFR'd because the price per point was kind of low. He didn't think we'd have much trouble, but that doesn't mean I wasn't worried. So he probably figured it wasn't a big deal when we passed. Well, it is to me!

Well, it certainly sounds like you did, I wouldn't think the resaler would
go thru the time 'n expense to mail all the documents for your review
based on a hope or wish. :teeth:

Congratulations!

When we purchased our resale contract, we didn't hear anything either. The broker had set a closing date that was 6 weeks from the day our offer was accepted, and we literally had no contact until we received the closing documents. We had expected to hear that we had passed ROFR, too.

I will say, I was less than perfectly happy with the broker we bought from, as we never heard anything from her after our offer was accepted. (Ok, we eventually got a postcard saying that we would get a thank you surprise in the mail, but we never received any "nice surprises", either.) Our closing documents had several mis-spellings on them, which led to our having to figure out if the documents had been sent to Disney for ROFR with errors, or if the title company had subsequently written them up incorrectly. Fortunately, only the title company had the names wrong, and all came out well in the end.

Anyway, yes, I would say you have probably passed ROFR.
