Does this look ok....?

My Travel Insurance is about to expire so i need to purchase a new policy.

However ive been looking into getting my bank account upgraded to the one that includes the travel insurance. Ive worked out that it will be a good deal for me as it includes breakdown cover and the cardholder protection, both of these i have and they run out soon.

Im just concerned about how good the level of cover is on travel insurance but i know nothing about what to look for!

We upgraded our bank account for our wedding trip last november and the cover is really good.With america I think it is important to check you have good medical cover ,I think ours is about 10 million
.I have just had a look at barclays and the cover seems really good-seems a bit better than our lloydds one-ample to cover you.With this cover you can go away as many times as you like in a year so it does work out cheaper.Good luck sorting it out

As crabbie says, the most important things with the US is medical cover and liability cover. The recommendation for medical is at least $10 million - if the insurance has that, I would say it is probably adequate.

As is often said, though, whether an insurance company is good or bad is often not known until the time comes to try and make a claim
