Does this exist??? (camping accessory)

We love to take our German Shepherd camping, and for the most part she loves it, too. What she does NOT love is seeing other dogs. We rescued her when she was 1.5 yrs old and it seems like she was too far gone in the "doesn't get along with other dogs" category. We have had some success with squirting her with a water bottle to get her to calm down, but it would be SO much easier if she just never saw another dog.

So, my question... is there a "screen" house with solid walls? Or like, just solid for the first 2 feet or so off the ground? She lays down outside, so I just need it to block her view from the ground.

Obviously we would always be with her, and she'd be on a leash (always!). I don't want something to contain her -- just to block her view.

We have an awning that comes off our Class C and I see we can buy an awning add-a-room, but man are they expensive!

Maybe buy a tarp, rope and two poles to string it between.
Tarps are cheap at Harbor Freight, buy one the width you need and then cut it down to your desired length. Put rope through the grommets that are already there and tie the rope to the poles. To dress it up hang the camping lights off it and you are all set.

Still kind of pricey at $415, but it's an option. Screen all around, Rain fly on all 4 sides that could be set up as an awning or let down. Floor can be zipped off or left on.

Mt3PINJ I know exactly what you are going through We have 2 certified Delaware Heathen Hounds that for years have been extremely anti social. Mostly it was our fault for not socializing them with other dogs when they were younger The older one did have some experience with another dog till her stepmothers boyfriend growled at mom in an effort to start a tug of war match over a ball he found in our yard and to say Wookiebear took a dim view of that is an understatement.
If you can find a good and reputable training center where they can evaluate your dog and You as to what can be done to socialize her to other dogs you will have done both of you a huge favor. Remember as a dog she is a pack animal and your family is her pack any other dog is a potential threat to her pack and she is defending you

We have a ez-up that we got from Gander Mountain. You can leave it open, put four sides on for a screen house, and also comes with 3 solid panels for privacy. Their is no place to stake down the panels, they just secure to the frame.

One of our dachshunds likes to bark at other dogs...He has "little dog syndrome". I got a great suggestion years ago from this camping board about gold fencing, and it has changed our camping life! We purchased enough gold fencing and hooked them together, and the doxies roam around their fencing. I hang beach towels on the side the is open to the street so he can't see out the fencing where other dogs walk. It was cheap, and it works great! There are different height of fencing, so you'd probably need one taller than what we have! Here's a link to the fencing!

We bought a $35 screen room for a canopy at dicks. It fits our awning perfectly. You could do the same and pin fabric to the bottom. Buy yardage from jo anns

My dogs have such a 360 degree view in our trailer and it's all new territory and dogs for them. Got sick of my own voice. And no matter how many times our hometown UPS man has been to our door, the mere sound of the truck gets them going. And our Jack Russel is almost 9 and I've given up on her need to be the "big" dog. It's a breed thing I think. After she gets to know a dog and they are non reactive she's fine. But you can't gaurantee that so I keep her very close and in my control.
I found this air canister at a farm supply. I love how small it is! And it's lasted months because just showing it to them most times is enough. Used a small squirt gun before that but this is less of a hassle.
