The answer to the title:
Only if you have a mirror baby.
Only if you have a mirror.
Ahemmm......
Please sing along in the note of "out of tune and off key!"
"Here's the story,
Of a chubby lady,
Who decided to marry an equally chubby man.
They both had love of all things Disney,
Like Walt himself,
The youngest one did the plans.
Ba dump bump bump
Here's the story,
Of a Disney Honeymoon,
Where they planned on finally having time alone
There were 14 days,
Altogether, but some will not be just their own.
Ba dump ba dump
So one day when the lady got on a airplane,
and her hubbie drove all the way to WDW for lunch.
That this honeymoon,
Starts months later because of a Bread Pudding munch.
That's the way they became the Bread Pudding Munch,
The Bread Pudding Munch, The Bread Pudding Munch,
That's the way they became the Bread Pudding Munch.
Badumpda dump bump"
Note to self: Great ideas
turn sucky real quick.
End of note to self.
Yes this is a Honeymoon Food Report.
Yes this starts in approximately one week.
Yes yesterday I found out that we are not staying at AKV for our second half of the split stay and rather at BCV so I was busy last night until 11:45 p.m., give or take a minute, changing plans to accommodate the new location as much as possible and deciding to erase a few places simply due to gluttony and fear that trying to fit every restaurant we want to try, will mean no alone time, pool time, water park time, alone time, park time, parade time, alone time, friend meet time, leisurely walk time, alone time and did I mention alone time???
For you newbies let me splain,
(And really if you are a newbie, show yourself because we can't poke fun at you and ask what took you so long if you do not un-lurk thyself!)
Dan and I got married on July 6th this past summer.
In Charleston, SC.
We live two bazillion miles north in Minnesota.
We chose this destination because we love the ocean and we love Charleston.
We also chose this location because we do not particularly love all of our family/acquaintances/co-workers and we knew if we did something local, more people would come.
It's not that we hate people per say.
We just loathe faking friendly gestures and shelling out a butt ton (that is an official Dawn word) of money for people who we rarely see or speak to unless forced by a natural disaster or Christmas (sometimes those are one and the same.)
So we rented a home on the ocean on Folly Beach, SC that slept 12, had a rooftop deck to accommodate the wedding, for a week of peace, tranquility and relaxation.
Did I mention that 10 of the 12 spots were occupied 5 of the 7 nights and 2 of the 7 nights there were 13?
Yeah.
About that.
What was I thinking you may ask?
I was thinking that I love my kids and I love a few close family and friends so really, a week with everyone was just great and the wedding was more than I could have asked for. My oldest two are in college so we don't get as much time together and I have no regrets at all about the choice.
Until the day after the wedding.
Because it was that morning, that the stress ball started rolling and honestly, more or less has been going since.
The ins and outs are not important but those I hold here as close friends, can attest that the amount of just stupid crap that kept getting slung
, that most normal people do not have to deal with...makes one wonder if my mamma in a past life, was the person who invented polka and now I am suffering for her sin against humanity and the ears of the world.
So here we are, three months plus later and the Disneymoon is about to commence.

We really need this time and it will be the first time we have any alone time since the wedding so pardon us if we may miss a planned meal or two.
Without further ado...
Our itinerary:
Monday October 17th: I fly into JAX at 2 p.m. and Dan who had to work this week in MO, will meet me there. Drive the 2 hours to WDW and check in at OKW studio. (Hoping for an upgrade and willing to show my cleavage, Dan's cleavage and the grandma behind me in lines cleavage if we can move up like the Jefferson's. )

Leave for SC!!!!
I deleted Jiko and Artist Point from our line up due to time and the fact that they both did not have many offerings Dan can eat. (No beef/rice/french fries.)
We both are not seafood people
so some places did not appeal for that reason.
We will not be on the meal plan at all and will take advantage of TIW card so will keep track for you all the pro's vs. con's and price points.
We just wanted to have a good time, eat what we wanted, no soda/pop which we feel obliged to get or we are just weak and say "sure" when on the dining plan. We also tend to like app's and not so much desserts so if we can split one of each, better than getting what we do not want to order, simply to maximize our budget benefit on the dining plan.
Plus Dan likes his fru fru drinks on vacay and that discount will be nice to use!!
For HOB, Garden Grove & Il Mulino we will use restaurant.com certificates.
We have others certificates for Shula's, Todd's Bluezoo and one at Universal we may end up using for days/times we have open.
So that is the end all be all....unless I can get us one at LeCellier by some chance!!!
For those who want to read the first Food Report and understand the grading scale: Sweet Mother of Bread Pudding...
Hope to see many new faces and some old ones too!!!
