Does the Wilderness Lodge still share buses with the Grand Floridian?

So if I need to go from WL to GF, I could take an Epcot, MGM or AKL bus, and it would stop at GF first?

When we were there last August, it no longer shared buses with GF or Poly. They did have a TTC bus running that was really fast. We used it to get to the polynesian for dinner one night. You could do that. Or you could take the small boat to the Contemporary and take the monorail from there.

During our Sept trip, it always stopped at GF in the morning. I'd go to the bus stop & ask the 1st driver that came if s/he was stopping there & if not, if any other buses were that morning.

Last Dec. I believe the bus stopped at the GF on the way to the AK in the mornings. I know we did have a stop at the GF.

Yes... and no. It's a dynamic system, so morning routing is subject to change. If a bus fills up, it won't make the next stop unless it has guests to drop off. (Another bus is then sent to pick up at the next resort)

All things being equal though, the Epcot bus will typically always share with Fort Wilderness, and the Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney buses will typically always share with Grand Floridian.

The Studios bus will share with GF in the AM, and FW in the PM.

Bottom line though, is that you should always let the driver know if you plan on getting off at a stop prior to the main destination of the bus. This way, the driver knows not to bypass that stop, and to make sure you are able to get off the bus.

I stayed at VWL last month and our bus always stopped at GF.

Also, that bus mentioned above that went directly to the TTC has been discontinued and there is now a bus that goes directly to MK (so now you have the option of bus or boat to MK).

Wow, maybe our bus schedule was different because we were there during the summer?!

That's too bad about the TTC bus, but I'm glad there's an MK bus. That boat was always so slow on EE mornings. And usually full from stopping at FW first.

I wish they had a boat that did a Poly/GF/WL/Cont/FW route. It would be slow, but a nice way to travel to dinner.
